24th of December was the date that flashed up on your phone as you turned it on and it was near 10am in the Morning. With the light from outside flooding into your room you rubbed your eyes as they were sensitive to the light filling them.

It was Christmas Eve and for some people this was an amazing day full of excitement and love but for you, it was just another day without Peter.

Unfortunately he was called out too a mission with all the other avengers and he said it would be unlikely he would be back in time for Christmas and well, he was right.

You missed him, so much but you knew he had to be out doing what he was doing and you being you, you didn't want to be in the way of that so you let him go.

This would be the first Christmas without Peter for the past two years and well of course it is going to upset you, it is a time for loving and appreciating the people around you and he isn't her.

It's been about two and a half weeks since he left and you missed him, like crazy but you knew he was coming back some time so you had that to look forward too but everyday you would dread something bad would happen. You didn't know what he was getting himself into and you hated not knowing what was going on.

You let the day go on and now you were at the point where you had an oversized jumper on and some leggings with the fluffiest socks you had to keep yourself warm as in queens, it is cold.

You had a box of presents that you had to wrap which were on the floor along with wrapping paper, scissors and tape. You loved wrapping presents but, you would usually do it with Peter.

You set your hot drink you previously made onto the floor and then you sat on the floor. You reached over and got the remote off the little table you had and turned on the tv to have some noise in the background so you didn't feel like you were sitting in silence.

You smiled as you picked up the next present with was in the pile, and this one was for Peter. It was a photo frame of your favourite picture of you both and it said 'forever and always' on it. You held it with both hands and smiled down at it like you were looking at something that you had never seen before.

The emotions filled your body and tears started dropping out of your eyes. You missed him so much and you couldn't help it. No matter how hard you try you just couldn't stop thinking about him, everyone hour of every day he would pop into your head and there was no distraction from him, nothing could take your mind off him.

Everything was done and the day went by as slow as it could of but it's not like you have anything to look forward to anyway.

You were now currently sat in your bed watching tv as you let your body warm up with the amount of cover you had over yourself. You couldn't even focus on the movie you were watching. You felt so out of it and couldn't focus at all, the only thing you could think about was Peter.

You would look at the tv for a couple of minutes then within a couple of seconds after that you would be in a gaze looking around your room. You hated this. You picked up the remote and pressed in the red button and suddenly your room turned to darkness. You could see strips of light around your blind where the light was leaking in.

You turned yourself over so you were facing the wall. You were just faced with darkness. Your legs spread out as you had all the room you could ever want in this bed as Peter wasn't in there with you. It seem so empty and you hated it.
