It would now be the second Christmas you have spent with toms family and well it's amazing, they treat you like you are apart of the family, well you are as you and Tom are engaged and are getting married mid next year and you both couldn't wait and neither could toms family. You just felt so welcomed in that house and it was great you couldn't ask for anything better.
All the presents were open and you and Nikki were currently cooking in the kitchen while the boys were in the living room messing with all paddys new things and helping him make up his race track.
'So how do you feel that it's getting close to the new year and you and Tom will be getting married' Nikki says to you excited as she is like a mother to you as your mother and father don't really have a role in your life.
'I'm super excited, I'm not sure what date yet though' you say placing all the different veggies in different bowls.
'What are you thinking' she replied taking the chicken out of the oven.
'Maybe march 22nd or 23rd I'm not sure yet but me and Tom will have to talk about it' you said taking some of it over to the table.
'I can't wait and I'm sure I will help you get it all sorted out' she smiles.
'Thank you so much' you replied and got everything sorted out and called everyone in for a meal.
You sat next to tom with paddy on your other side then harry and Sam opposite you then his mum and dad at each end of the table.
This was perfect, everyone was sat around with their wine or beer and paddy with the orange juice obviously and you wouldn't change this for the world.
'Pads do you want to do a cracker' you say to him as you pick one up off the table and face towards him and he grabs on and pulls is straight away.
'God I never win these' you complain as paddy won.
'Here I will do one with you' tom says and picked one up.
'Can you just let me win' you say to him
'That's not the point' he said and you just pulled it and got it.
'Hey I wasn't ready' he says sticking his bottom lip out.
'Well at least I won my darling' I said to him as I took the little crown out of it and putting it onto my head then we all started having more group talks around the table and eat all the food in front of us.
'Gosh I'm stuffed, I better get this washed up' Nikki says just as she is about to get out of her seat.
'No you go and sit down me and Tom will wash it all up' you say giving tom a look.
'Oh dear you don't need to do that' she said.
'Yes I do, now fill up your wine glass and go in there and chill out you deserve it because the Chicken was amazing' you Giggle and get up and collect some of the plates and the others head into the living room as tom also collected some of the plates and you all started to clean them and save the left over food as I'm sure you will all munch on it through the day.
You both finished doing it and you were re filling your wine glass and a pair of arms wrapped around your waist and you knew it was tom then you Turned around and faced him.
'You are so great with my family' he says looking deep into your eyes.
'Well I'm going to be apart of it soon aren't it' you smile at him.
'And I can't wait for it' he smiles and leans in then we kiss, it was held for a little then paddy shouts.
'Ewww mum y/n and Tom are kissing again' he says as he hates it when we do.
'Sorry pads' you say to him and grab you wine and go into the living room.
'That's all sorted for you Nikki' you say and sit down on the couch.
'Thank you darling' she says then tom also makes his way in and sits next to you and puts his arm around you and you all start to watch a movie.
'I love you' Tom says to you.
'I love you more' you say and give him a peck, this was perfect.
