I sat in my office typing up some documents for work when I heard someone knock on my door.
"Come on," I said to whoever it was as I continued to focus on my computer.
I heard the door open and shut behind the person. I looked up from my computer to see who it was.
Someone I definitely did not want to see.
"What the hell are you doing in my office?," I asked him.
"We need to talk," he said.

"No thank you. Aren't you supposed to be at work?," I asked him.
"My job doesn't matter as much as you do," he told me.
I chuckled and rolled my eyes as I went back to typing on my computer.
"That's funny. Where was that attitude when I told you that you should spend less time working and more time with me?," I asked him.
"Beyoncé, I promise you. That was the old me. Let me prove it to you. All I wanna do is make you happy," he said to me.
"No, I won't. Michael, I thought I told explicitly told you last night that I would call you if I was ever ready. Spoiler alert. I'm not so get out," I told him making direct eye contact with him.
"Come on. How am I ever gonna prove to you that I've changed when you won't give me a chance to?," he asked me.
"By leaving me alone Michael!," I exclaimed as I stood up aggravated with him.
"I don't get it," he said.
"You are in no position to push me and try to get what you want! We are in this position because of you! If you want me back, you're gonna have to agree to my terms and my conditions! I was doing great without you! It felt so good to go home and not have to worry about getting in an argument with you or anything like that! It was like a weight off of my shoulders! I didn't know how bad I needed to be away from you until I was! And honestly, I really liked it, and right now, I'm not even sure that I want you you back, but I know one thing! And that is you're not helping your case by pushing me! You don't have the right to make any decisions! I do! And my decision is that I don't wanna see you right now! If you wanna make me happy like you said, then you'll do what I say!," I yelled at him.
