"Say 'Happy birthday Daddy!' Come on Blue Blue, tell Daddy happy birthday," I said to Jay's and my two year old daughter.
"Happy birthday Daddy!" our daughter Blue said excitedly as she hugged him and kissed all over his face, and I got the whole thing on camera.
"Thank you Princess," Jay laughed as he sat her in his lap.
"She wasn't nearly this excited for my birthday," I laughed as I recorded the two of them.
"Now, you say it Mommy," Blue said to me in her cute little voice.
"Happy birthday babe," I smiled at him as we leaned across the table and kissed.
I put my phone down and stopped recording.
"Happy birthday Jay," Vanessa told her brother.

"Thanks Vanessa," he said to her.
The four of us were out getting breakfast from Jay's favorite restaurant. It's his 34th birthday, and we were just having a small little celebration together.
His party would be later this afternoon at the house with our family and friends.
It's been a little over two years since you've heard from us.
Obviously, the biggest thing that's happened is that I gave birth to a beautiful, healthy baby girl named Blue Ivy Carter.
The echogenic focus turned out to be nothing, so Blue didn't have any disabilities whatsoever.
She's two now. She'll be three next month. She was born January 7, 2021
We are just so happy to have her. She is straight fire. She's so feisty and funny. She gets that from me.
She's also extremely intelligent and so emotionally aware. She's so kind and compassionate and just the most amazing person I've ever met.
She and Jay are the best of friends, and I know that she loves me to the moon and back too, but she's a daddy's girl, which I don't mind. We both love her infinitely, and we have different relationships with her.
