Few Days Later
Bey's POV
I walked into the office feeling good today. I don't know why, but I just felt good. I was really happy.
The first place I went to when I got to work was Jay's office to let him know that I was back.
I knocked on his door seeing that it was closed. The last thing I wanted to do was walk in on him and Coffin kissing again.
"Come in," I heard him say.
I opened the door and walked into his office.
"Hey! I'm back," I smiled as I closed the door behind me.
"Hey, I see you are. I'm glad. I did tell you that I missed you, right?," he said as he stood up from his desk.
"Once or twice. Yes," I told him as we hugged.
"How are you feeling today?," he asked me as we let go of each other.
"I'm good. I feel good. I was planning on coming back today, but since you kept saying that you missed me so much, I decided to give you what you've been asked for," I told him.
"Come on. You acting like you didn't miss me too," he said.
"Okay. Maybe I did. Just a little bit," I told him.
"A little bit?," he questioned.
"I missed you a lot. I liked when you came over to my house. It was nice spending time with you," I told him.
"Yeah, I did too," he said.
"Are you still coming over after work to help me pack up my stuff?," I asked him.
"Yeah, I'll be over there," he told me.
"Thank you," I said.
"So have you started house hunting yet?," he asked me.
"Yeah, but I haven't found anything that I really liked yet. Why?," I asked him.
"Because I was riding around my neighborhood, and I noticed a for sale sign on one of the houses a few doors down from me. It's really nice," he told me.
"So you want me to move in down the street from you?," I asked him.
"I'm just telling you. I'm trying to help you out, but I wouldn't mind you living in my area," he said.
