Six Weeks LaterBey's POV
"Alright, Bey is four months now, and today is the day that we find out the gender of the baby," Jay said as he walked into our bedroom with my camera.Ever since we found out that I'm pregnant, he's just completely taken over my video diary. He's been filming every last moment from sun-up to sundown. Every doctor's appointment, everything.
I think it's really cute though. He's so ready for the baby, and he been constantly in protective daddy mode for the last few months.
He's so excited about the baby. I don't think I've ever seen him so happy and smile so much.
December can't come quickly enough. He's ready for the baby to be born.
Like I said, he's been documenting almost every moment.
For the most part, it's adorable. I love seeing him in daddy mode. It's something that I never knew I needed to see.
He even started the baby's photo album with all of the sonogram pictures before I had the chance.
We were just chilling one day, and I brought up that we should start a photo album for the baby with all of the sonogram pictures that we have so far.
The next day he was putting the photo album together.
Sometimes, it's a little annoying when he's got the camera recording, and he's in my way, or I'm feeling nauseous, but I don't curse him out, which is progress considering how I get when I'm agitated.
The only reason that I don't curse him out is because I know he means well, and this is our first child.
But ever since we told our family and friends that I'm pregnant, he's been going all out because he doesn't have any reason to hide it.
"Hey baby, you're already up and recording?," I asked him as I looked over at the clock and noticing that it was only five-fifty in the morning.
"Yeah, today is a big day, and I want to have it all on camera," he told me.
"Baby, our appointment isn't until eleven. Get back in bed, and go back to sleep," I told him as I covered my head with a pillow.
I know I look an absolute mess because I just woke up, and he wants to record while I'm looking crazy.
"Jay, why are you recording me when I look a hot mess? I just woke up," I asked him.
"You look beautiful all the time, especially when you wake up. I've never seen you look a mess," he complimented.
"Well, thank you, but I'm still sleepy, and you should be too. Go put the camera up and come back to bed. You're gonna be tired when we go to the doctor's office. We'll record later at the appointment," I told him.
"Baby, I can't sleep. I've been awake for an hour almost. I'm too excited about today. I can't wait to find out the gender of the baby," he told me.
"Jay, I know you are, and I am too, but the both of us need to go back to sleep," I said as I closed my eyes to go back to sleep.
