Bey's POV
"Bey, you ready?," I heard Zendaya say from behind me as I looked at myself in the mirror.I turned around to see my sisters and Ashley standing in the door waiting on me.
"Yeah, I'm ready," I smiled.
"You look so beautiful sis. We're so happy for you. You deserve this so much," Solange told me as she held my hand.
"Yeah, we love you so much. You're gonna have the most wonderful marriage," Zendaya told me as she held my hand.
"And a baby will come soon enough, in its own time. You've just gotta be patient," Ashley told me.
"That means so much to me guys, and I love you too, and you're right it will," I said.
I didn't want to lie to them about the baby, but Jay and I had agreed that we weren't gonna tell anyone until I was about of my first trimester, just in case things didn't work out.
My doctor was able to squeeze us in the day after I found out that I was pregnant. Just to confirm that those early detection tests were right.
She took a blood test and a urine test. She told us that I'm about two weeks pregnant.
Jay and I decided to wait to tell people because the doctor told us that the risk of miscarriage drops dramatically after the first trimester, around 10 to 12 weeks.
For right now, I liked that it was our little secret. Just something that only the two of us knew about and get to share together.
"Thank you," I said before we pulled each other into a group hug.
"Now, come on. You've got to get married," Ashley said as she wiped a few tears.
We pulled apart before leaving my dressing room.
The wedding processional started.
Vanessa, who was one of my bridesmaids, walked down the aisle with one of her and Jay's young cousins, who was one of Jay's groomsmen.
Vanessa actually just turned eighteen a few weeks ago. We didn't have to do much to plan her party because she had thought of everything herself. She knew exactly what she wanted her party to be like. All we had to do was make it happen.
Then Kelly, my good friend from Houston, walked down the aisle with Jay's friend Diddy.
Then Michelle, another one of my friends from Houston, walked down the aisle with Jay's friend Lenny.
Ashley, my maid of honor, walked down the aisle with Jay's best man Ty Ty.
The ring bearer and flower girl walked afterwards.
Then it was my turn. I was walked down the aisle by my sisters, and I saw Jay standing at the alter smiling his ass off.
I couldn't help but giggle to myself when I looked at him.
My sisters gave me away to him, and he grabbed my hands as I reached the altar.
"You feel okay?," Jay whispered as I looked up at him.
He was referring to the fact that I had been really nauseous the past few days because of my pregnancy, but thankfully, I felt fine today. I guess the baby decided to give Mommy a break on her wedding day.
I hope he or she decides to give me a break on the honeymoon too.
"I'm fine," I whispered back.
He nodded as he smiled at me.
"Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to join this man and this woman in Holy Matrimony," the priest said as the music stopped.
