Bey's POV
"So what do you think?," Jay asked me as we walked down the stairs of the house that I was thinking about buying."I like it. It's really nice, and this is a great neighborhood," I said as we made it to the bottom of the stairs.
"Okay, so that's it. That's the entire house," my realtor said as we finished the tour of the house.
Jay, my realtor, and I stood in the foyer of the house after coming from upstairs. We had just finished viewing the house, and I thought it was a beautiful house.
We had a great tour of the house. I'd really like to live here. I could tell throughout the entire time though that Jay was bored and probably didn't wanna be here, but he tried his best to hide it for me.
I knew that he was only there because it meant a lot to me for him to be there, which is one of the reasons why he's so special to me.
He does things just for me even though he would rather not. He's just sweet like that.
It had plenty of room for me and any guests I decided to have over, but it's beauty or size wasn't what won me over.
It's the fact that I'd be closer to Jay if I lived here, which wouldn't be a terrible thing.
"So how do you like it?," my realtor asked me.
"It's great. I love it. I think this is the one," I answered.
"That's what I like to hear," the realtor smiled.
"Hey Bey, I gotta get going. I've gotta go get Vanessa from school," he told me.
"Okay, I'll see you later then," I told him.
"Alright, I'll see you later. Let me know what happens," he told me.
"Will do," I smiled before hugging him.
He hugged me back for a minute before he left.
I looked backed at the door as he left and smiled to myself.
"So how long have you been together?," my realtor asked me.
"What did you say?," I asked her snapping out of my little daze because I was still thinking about Jay.
"You and your husband. How long have you two been together?," she asked me.
"Oh, we're not married. We're not even together," I told her.
"Oh, I'm sorry. I just assumed since you two were here together that you were newly married and buying your first house together. It was just the way you were acting all boo'd up and the way you two were hugged up together and hanging on to each other," she explained.
"Well, we're not together. We're just really great friends. We work together. He lives a few doors down from here, and I asked him to come with me," I said to her.
