Forty Two

Few Days Later

Bey's POV
"Shit," I cursed as one of the boxes I was carrying opened at the bottom and everything fell through.

We were still in the process of unpacking. We're almost done, but there are just a few more boxes that need to be unpacked.

I put the empty cardboard box down and bent over to pick up the contents of the box that were now on the floor.

I heard footsteps rushing down the stairs and knew it was Jay.

"Hey, you okay? I heard stuff hitting the floor, and I thought you might've hurt yourself," he said as he crouched down next to me while examining my body to make sure that I was okay.

"I'm okay baby. This stuff just fell through the box and hit the floor, but thank you for being so concerned," I told him as I leaned over and kissed him.

"Of course, I love you," he said after breaking the kiss.

"I know. I love me too," I smiled.

He laughed as he started to pick up the things that had fallen on the floor.

"I'm just kidding. I love you too, so much," I told him as I helped him.

I picked up some pictures that had fallen out of a phone album when it hit the floor. I assumed that it would be one of mine, but I was wrong. It was one of Jay's.

"Oh my God, Jay, look at you. You were so adorable," I said as I looked at the pictures.

"No, I was not. Give me those. I look terrible," he said as he reached for them.

"Aww baby, you were so cute, except for the fact that you didn't know how to smile," I giggled.

I moved away from him a little as he tried to get them back.

"Come on. You've seen my embarrassing childhood pictures. I should be able to see yours too. Besides you were so adorable," I smiled.

He gave in after I said that. I opened the photo album that the pictures came out of to put them back in and found some more pictures of him.
