Kevin and I sat in the back of Michael's car as his driver drove us back home.
I held onto little Mike tightly.
"Michael, how come you don't drive? You got your licence two years ago, you should be driving." I said.
Michael smirked, "People don't like to drive with me. I'm too fast." He chuckled.
I smirked, "I bet so. You love fast things, I could imagine how you'd drive...You speed demon." I softly said.
Michael giggled as he looked down at the baby.
"He's so precious." Michael whispered.
I smiled, "Do you want to hold him?" I asked him.
I've been asking Michael all day to hold little Mike and he says no.
Why? He wants the time to feel perfect to hold my baby.
What's it gonna be like when he has children?
"Not yet, Mia. I've told you, I want the time to be right." He sternly said.
I smirked, "I'm gonna make you hold him once we get home!" I teased.
Michael smirked, "Maybe." He softly said.
Kevin sighed loudly, "All I know is that now that we have a baby, I'm gonna need to be working double time now." He complained.
I frowned, "Kevin, I could still work." I said.
Kevin slowly shook his head, "No, you have to take care of little.. Michael." He said, staring at Michael in disgust.
Michael stared at Kevin back.
"Boys" I said, rocking little Mike in my arms.
"No fighting in front of Michael." I cooed, kissing Mike's little forehead.
Michael smirked as he watched me hold onto my newborn.
"He looks just like you, Kevin." I smiled widely, turning to Kevin.
"Mhm, great." He mumbled.
I sighed. Kevin can never be satisfied and impressed, can he?
"Maybe he'll be as strong as his daddy then." Kevin smirked, gently playing with Mike's hands.
Mike let out a little giggle.
I gulped. I know damn well Mike ain't gonna touch another woman the way his father does. Damn straight he ain't. Hell no.
Michael looked at me with an uneasy glare.
I frowned, tilting my head.
I gave Michael the, 'It's gonna be alright.' Look.
Michael sighed softly, rolling his eyes at Kevin's comment.
"Maybe he'll be as graceful as his mother." Michael said, glaring at Kevin.
Kevin's neck snapped towards Michael, "His mama ain't gonna protect him for how weak she is." Kevin snapped.
I sighed, not being able to fight back. He's right...
"I'm sure Mia will protect her children the best she can." Michael shot back.
"And I'll be there too." Michael said, raising an eyebrow.
"Hell no, you ain't!" Kevin raised his voice.
"I'm Mike's Godfather, I'll be there." Michael said.
Kevin cracked his fingers. I watched him become irritated.
