"Mrs Jackson, we're going to give your daughter pills since she is only a baby. I mean, a baby can only handle so many shots, right?" The nurse kindly smiles at me as she gets her supplies ready.

I frown, "How can a baby take pills? What will this medication do for my daughter?" I sternly ask, crossing my arms.

The nurse quietly sighs, "You're going to have to open the capsule up and put it in her food. It can not be solid food, Mrs Jackson. It may have a bitter taste but it should help your daughter's immune system for worsening." She explains.

"It's not necessarily a new drug but it has helped in the past with adults. Since she is only so young, this pill will be very strong and will help her a bunch." She smiles.

I sigh, "Alright.." I mumble, watching her feed my daughter a little bit of applesauce.

"Applesauce is one of the foods you can give to her. I recommend this as a daily pill." She explains.

I nod. I take my shots, one after another, after a few days too. Looks like I'll be watching the medication for both of us.

My daughter's health is more important than mine. I can not forget her's!

"Do you have any questions, Mrs Jackson?" The nurse kindly asks.

I shake my head, "No. Just thank you so much for taking us in early and getting us help." I say.

The nurse smiles, "Of course. Anything for the Jackson family!" She chuckles.

I fake a smile. You should be doing this for any family. Not one with a lot of money and power.

"Do I need to sign anything or..." I stare at the nurse.

"Oh, no! You two are good to go now." She grins.

I smile, gently picking April up. My baby can at least sit up.. Proud of my little April. I kiss her cheek.

April holds onto me tightly.

"We'll send you the bill, if that's alright?" The nurse asks.

I nod, "That'll be just fine, thank you." I grin.

The nurse smiles as she walks closer to April and I.

"April is very beautiful and she must be a good girl, huh?" She coos, touching her hair.

I cringe. Don't touch my baby's hair.

"Yeah, she is.." I smile, looking down at April.

"I don't know if she's allowed to have candy yet but.." The nurse reaches for her back pocket as she pulls out a lollipop and a sticker.

"For Little April." She giggles, trying to hand April the sticker and candy.

April slowly reaches out for the gift.

I smile at her, taking the candy and sticker from the nurse.

"Look, April! A sticker!" I coo.

April smiles widely.

"April loves stickers. She has a whole wall of stickers!" I smile widely.

The nurse grins, "Oh, how cute!" She coos.

I grin, "Thank you again." I say, grabbing April's things.

The nurse nods, "Of course! See you soon. I'll sign your daughter up for an appointment in the future?" She suggests.

I nod, "That would be wonderful!" I happily say.

The nurse smiles, "Alright, I'll go do that now. See you two soon." She smiles, walking out of the door.
