Michael and I walked into the Jackson's home carrying my boxes.

"Welcome to your new home." Katherine smiled.

I smiled, "Thank you so much, Mrs. J-"

"Please, you know to call me Katherine." She chuckled.

I smirked, "Thank you, Katherine."

Katherine gently patted my back, "Of course, sweetheart." She kindly said as Joseph and her left Michael and I alone.

"So, where do I put my things?" I shyly asked.

Michael smirked, "We're going upstairs. That is where your new room is at." Michael smiled, walking towards the stairs.

I sighed walking beside him as we made our way up the stairs.

Michael and I walked down the hallway.

"I truly can't thank you enough for letting me-"

"Mia" Michael chuckled.

"It's fine, this is what friends do! I love having you around!" He smiled brightly.

I smirked, "Now I get to watch you record then, huh?"

Michael chuckled, "Mia, now you get to be everywhere with me. I'll protect you, don't worry." He shyly said.

I smirked, "You're too good for me." I mumbled.

Michael stopped walking as he stared at me, "What?"

My eyes widened, "Nothing, Michael." I forced a smile, feeling my face heat up.

Michael smirked, "Sure...Nothing." He said as we started walking again.

Michael and I took a right into a room.

"This is your bedroom." Michael said as he gently placed the boxes down.

Michael grabbed the two boxes from my hands as he set them down as well.

"Thank you." I softly said.

Michael nodded. "What do you think?" He asked, looking around.

I looked around the room, my eyes widening.

"Wow, Michael..." I softly said in awe.

"It's so big in here.." I softly said.

Michael started laughing, "I know, I may never be able to find you!" He said.

I punched his arm, "Ha, ha." I sarcastically said, smirking.

"Your parents have a very lovely home though." I softly said, looking around the room in awe.

Michael smirked, "I know. This is where your father got us."

I sighed, "I know, I was there through it all."

Michael wrapped his arm around me, "And thanks to him, I also got to meet you." He smiled.

I smirked, "Don't be such a charmer.." I mumbled.

Michael laughed, "I'll leave you alone for a while to let you settle in. Joseph wants to talk to me about a few things." He said, walking towards the door.

I smiled, "Alright, see you later then." I waved at him.

He smiled at me as he closed the door.

I sighed, opening one of the boxes.

I pulled out a jewelry box my mom had given me when I was younger.

Oh, mama... Why did you have to leave? You could've taught me so much.
