Chapter Fifty-Seven

Doctor Johnson sent Michael and I back home, telling us it's alright to go back to doing normal things. Doctor Johnson said it's possibly going to take at least sixteen days before we get the results back but in the meantime Michael and I wait.. It has already been a few days and I feel guilty to say I haven't even been counting.

I bet Michael has.

I smiled as I watched Rose stand up, holding onto the coffee table tightly.

Her jaw was slightly down in shock.

I giggled. "Hello little Rose! Hi!" I cooed, waving at her.

Rose started giggling and bouncing.

I smiled, gently moving her curls.

"My pretty girl.." I said in a baby voice, kissing her forehead gently.

I cupped her face in my hands, "So pretty!" I smiled as our noses touched.

Rose giggled, "Mama!" She squealed, reaching her hands out for me.

I smiled widely, picking Rose up. 

I gave a big kiss on Rose's cheek as she giggled again.

I started walking, bouncing Rose in my arms as I walked outside to find Michael.

I smiled, finding Michael on the phone, pacing around the garden.

Michael let out a soft chuckle. "Well great! I look forward to seeing you. It's going to be great to get together and goof off again." Michael smiled.

"Just have some good ol' fun. You know, thanks for the invitation." Michael placed his hands on his hips as he glanced at me.

"I'm at Neverland at the moment with my wife and daughter so if I leave you I'll call you back later, okay?" He sweetly said.

I smirked, bouncing Rose in my arms as she played with her toy.

Michael was silent for a moment.

His eyes widened, "Oh, you are?" He smiled.

"Do you know how long you'll get to stay? Like a week or-"

"Oh, oh!" Michael smiled widely.

"You do?" He blushed.

I smirked. Wonder who he's on the phone with. 

"You're kidding?" Michael softly chuckled.

"Oh boy, I would love to go! I don't know if I would be able to, do you know what day is it?" He gently said.

"Oh boy, I would love to see Batman but let me check with my wife because around that time I'm going to be recording again. But um.. I'll have to see. I've been dying to see Batman though! So.. Sounds fun, doesn't it?" Michael smiled.

"I know.. Thank you for the invitation, I'll check." Michael said.

"I-I said thanks for the invitation, I'll have to check and see." Michael softly said.

"Well gee, thank you." Michael said with sincere as he smiled.

I blushed, watching him.

"You're very nice um.. Yeah, you're welcome to stay at the Ranch if you want!" Michael smiled.

My eyes widened. Who's staying at the Ranch? 

"Okay..." He mumbled.

"So, you'll be in town for the premiere, huh?" Michael said, crossing on arm around him.

Michael let out a chuckle.

Michael was silent for a moment until he let out another chuckle.

"Well, yeah. I look forward to seeing you! I'm sure Mia will be as well, she's been dying to meet you!" He smiled at me.
