Chapter Seventy

I smile widely at Rose, carrying her in my arms.

"Oh, you're matching mommy today, aren't you?" I say in a baby-voice, bouncing Rose in my arms.

Rose lets out a giggle, looking up at me.

I smile.

Mother and daughter wearing flower print dresses. It works. I smirk.

"Come on, baby. Daddy and everyone is waiting for us." I coo, walking out of her bedroom.

"Alright, Rose.. Are you ready?" I smile, turning the corner towards the living room.

I smile widely, looking around at the Jackson's as they smile widely at Rose and I.

Michael grins widely, standing next to Rose's birthday cake.

I smile. Michael and his sparkles, I swear.. Our bedding sheets are covered in sparkles too! I can't imagine how much money that cost him. Michael told me once and I was right, the sheets are very expensive. It's unbelievable.

I walk closer to the birthday cake.

Katherine smiles widely at me as they all started singing.

Joseph lights the candles as he smiles at Rose, giving her a small kiss on her forehead.

Janet grins widely.

I give Rose a huge kiss on her face.

I lean us closer to the cake as we both blow the candles out.

"Yay, Rose!" I cheer.

Rose smiles widely, clapping her hands.

I look at Michael, "Babe, could you please cut the cake?" I kindly ask.

Michael grins, pecking my lips with his. "Sure, baby." He blushes.

I smile as his family and I walk towards the dining room table.

Katherine grins widely at me, giving Rose and I a gentle hug.

"Oh, you're just glowing!" She gushes.

I blush, "Thank you." I shyly say, placing Rose in her high-chair.

"Michael told us it's twins. Is that so?" She softly says excitedly.

I grin, "It's true. Very true." I chuckle, placing a small hand on my stomach.

Katherine smiles widely, "Oh, what a blessing!" She squeals.

I smirk. "It is!" I say, feeling joy go through me.

Katherine gives me another gentle hug before heading towards Joseph.

Janet smiles at me, giving me a big hug.

"Goodness, girl!" She giggles.

"Every time I see you you're pregnant!" She smiles widely.

I feel my face grow hot, "I know!" I laugh.

It's true. She was there when I was pregnant with Mike and Rose. She's experienced almost as much as Michael has!

"What have you been working on now?" I ask.

Janet smiles, "I'm working on my new album Rhythm Nation." She proudly says.
