Michael never got back to me on what I had to tell him. Instead he spent the rest of that afternoon playing basketball with Tito. I was fine with that, but at the same time I need to tell him.

We're in New York now, waiting for the conference to start. Michael is very excited... I'm glad. It's a great opportunity for him!

"Mia-May, are you ready?" Michael softly said, smoothing his pants out.

I smirked, "Of course I am, Michael-Mo. It's your conference though." I reminded him.

He chuckled, "I know, I know.. But you're gonna sit beside me!" Michael smiled as he pulled me beside him.

I raised an eyebrow at him, "What are you doing? Michael, I'm not apart of the film.."

Michael smirked, "It's fine. I'm sure they won't complain so much.." He smiled, wrapping his arm around me.

I sighed, "Alright." I looked around the room.

"There is a lot of people here.." I softly said.

Michael smirked, "You haven't been in the light in a long time, have ya?"

I smirked, "Shut up.." I softly said, nudging him.

Michael chuckled.

I poked his Afro.

He didn't react.. Okay..

I poked his Afro again.

Still nothing.... I smirked.

I placed my hand on his Afro.

Michael looked at me oddly, "What are you doing?" He softly said.

I stared at him as I smirked. I shrugged, not saying a word.

Michael squinted his eyes at me.

"One day, I'll glue my hand onto your hair..." I softly said.

Michael pushed my hand away, "What?!" He laughed.

I chuckled, "I'm just saying you have really nice hair.." I smirked, touching his Afro again.

Michael laughed as he placed his hands on my hair.

"Maybe I should glue my hands onto your hair then." He said.

I smirked, "Are you trying to threaten me? Because it ain't working." I giggled.

Michael smirked.

"Michael!" A girl said from behind Michael.

Michael and I let go of each others hair as we looked to see who it was.

Michael smiled widely as he got out of his seat, "Diana!" He smiled walking up to her.

"How have you been?" Michael hugged Diana.

I slowly got up from my chair as I smiled at their reunion.

"I've been good, Hun. What about you? You're looking great!" Diana smiled.

Michael smiled widely, "I'm good, I'm good. You remember Mia Gordy, yes?" Michael said.

I shyly waved, "Hello, Diana." I smiled.

Diana smiled widely as she walked over to me.

"My, you have grown since the last time I saw you!" She chuckled as she hugged me tightly.

"Oh, you're so bony!" She giggled.

I smirked.

"How is your father?" Diana asked.
