I rocked Rose in my arms.

"Hush little baby, don't say a word..." I softly said.

"Mama's gonna buy you a diamond ring.." I weakly smiled, sniffling.

It was now eight o'clock, over twelve hours have past and nobody came home. I was starting to worry.

No phone calls, nothing.

Rose has been asking me all day where daddy is. It hurts to tell her he'll be back soon, when in reality I don't even know if he's coming home. Michael doesn't like to always hear things that aren't exactly his way. He's a perfectionist, you know? That's just a trait he'll always have. It just hurts to know I'm next.

Michael is a very powerful man. He can easily erase people from his life... People even like me, his wife.

That hurts.

I looked down at Rose, seeing her eyes shut, sleeping peacefully.

I weakly smiled, slowly getting up from the chair as I walked towards her crib.

I placed a light kiss on her forehead, gently laying her in her crib.

Pulling the blanket over her, I heard a door open in the empty home.

I softly gasped, tip-toeing out of Rose's bedroom.

Michael said he was bringing Ryan and Jeanne home.. But just them, not himself.

I closed Rose's door, running towards the living room.

My eyes widen, "Oh, Jeanne." I force a smile.

"I knew I heard someone walk in." I let out an awkward chuckle, hoping it was Michael.

Jeanne smiles at me, "Hello, Mia." She chirps.

I look around her, noticing Ryan wasn't with her. "Where's Ryan?" I ask.

Jeanne smirks, "Ryan went off with Michael for the night. They are in Neverland actually but just a different part." She explains.

I slowly nod, "Oh." I frown.

"Are they going to stay there for the night then? I-I mean.. I guess so, since you just said that." I bit my lip, shutting myself up.

Jeanne smirked, "Mia, I think we should talk about what happened earlier." She slowly says, sitting down on the couch.

I sigh, sitting next to her. "Okay." I frown.

"Lay is on me." I mumble.

"Mia, Ryan and I heard the whole fight that happened this morning. It sounded pretty serious." She sternly spoke, staring at me.

I frown, "I know.." I murmur.

"I do apologize for that." I say, feeling ashamed.

Jeanne smiles at me with sympathy, "I understand, Mia." She gently lays a hand on my back.

"Pregnancy hormones get girls every time, huh?" She softly chuckles.

I show a weak smile, only to agree with her. Yeah and the fact that this has happened before..

"I truly mean it though. I feel embarrassed about my behavior this morning." I say, staring at the ground.

"That is no way to act when I have guests around." I add.

Jeanne smirks at me, "Michael said the exact same thing to us when he took us out." She says, smiling.

I look at her, "What did you all do today?" I curiously ask.
