Chapter Fifty-Eight

I watched Rose crawl around on the floor, reaching for her toys.

I smiled. So cute.. 

I gulped, fixing my blouse that was tucked into my jeans.

You're fine, Mia. Don't freak out. You'll be fine.

You can't be sick yet, Mia. I thought, taking deep breaths.

I fumbled my hands together, feeling my nerves kick in.

Michael is waiting for Ryan White and his mother to arrive. He's been talking about Ryan all day!

Oh, I can't wait to meet him! 

I smiled widely at Rose, watching her grin widely at me.

"Mama!" She cooed, reaching for me.

I smiled widely, picking her up. "Hi, baby!" I said in a baby-voice.

Rose smiled widely.

"Today we're going to meet a boy named Ryan and his mother!" I cooed, bouncing Rose in my arms.

"Isn't that going to be exciting? Playing with another boy at Neverland!" I smiled widely.

Rose giggled as she held onto me tightly. 

"You wanna play outside with daddy, don't you?" I cooed.

Rose smiled widely, nodding her head. "Yeah!" She said in her high little voice.

I blushed hearing my baby speak.

Yeah! Oh gosh, she sounds like a mouse! How adorable... 

Silence filled the home as I walked out to the living room with Rose.

I stopped as soon as I heard a bunch of chatter.

I smiled, peaking around the corner, gently bouncing Rose in my arms.

"Welcome back, Ryan!" Michael smiled widely as Ryan hugged him tightly.

I smirked. So cute.. 

I watched Ryan's mom smile at them as she stood in the doorway, bags in her hands.

Michael grinned widely, placing a small kiss on her cheek as he welcomed them in.

"I'll show you two to your room for the week." Michael chirped, taking the bags away from Ryan's mom.

Ryan walked closer towards me, smiling widely at Rose and I.

"Hi!" He smiled, waving at me.

I smiled, "Hello." I softly said, feeling a little shy.

"Welcome to Neverland, Ryan. I heard you've been here before?" I smiled.

Ryan nodded, "Yeah! It's a blast here! You're so lucky to live in an amazing place like this!" He grinned, looking around.

I blushed, "It is amazing, I admit." I smirked.

Ryan smiled widely, looking at Rose.

"Hello!" He cooed, shaking Rose's little hand.

Rose giggled, smiling shyly at Ryan.

"Rose, baby, say hi." I cooed.

"H-H-Hi!" Rose squeaked.

She suddenly squealed as she buried her head into my chest.

I giggled, "Rose is a little shy." I smirked, holding Rose closer to me.

Ryan smiled, "It's alright! I have a younger sister so I know how it is." He calmly said, smoothing Rose's hair back.

I smirked, "Let me show you to your room then." I softly said, walking Ryan down the hallway.
