*Dinobot's POV*

"I'm determined as to why Y/n moved here," said Dinobot.

"Yeah just like you did with your last girlfriend who might I remind you, cheated on you," said Rattrap.

"Don't remind me, vermin!" Dinobot finishes changing a pair of jeans and t-shirt since he decided it wouldn't be a good idea to go to Y/n's house in sweatpants and no shirt on. "So remind me again why you want me to spend time with her?"

"It would be good for you to get out of the house. Besides you need to treat her better, even if you guys do manage to stay as friends," said Rattrap with a wink before he had to run out of Dinobot's room.

Dinobot heads downstairs. "Why does everyone think I need a girlfriend? It's been a year since my last break-up with my previous girlfriend," Dinobot thinks to himself. "Besides Y/n is probably still recovering from a bad break-up as well. So it will take time to heal." Dinobot was about to head out the door when he decides to go into the kitchen to grab a few things. He was rummaging though the cupboards when Rhinox walks into the kitchen, eating an apple. "Hey do you know when Silverbolt will be back into town?" Dinobot asks.

"Why do you ask?" Rhinox asks as he tosses the apple core into the garbage.

"I think Y/n is going to need his help here soon. Just a feeling," said Dinobot.

"Just remember not to nose yourself into other people's business." Rhinox grabs his car keys off of the counter. "Last thing we need to have happen is the cops called on you." Rhinox leaves the kitchen and heads out for work.

*Y/n's POV*

Y/n was in her room, busy playing Horizon Zero Dawn. She was fighting the Thunderjaw boss in the Zeta Cauldron. After she beats the Thunderjaw, she saves the game and turns it off. She sits down on the floor, bored and tired. She didn't want to go to sleep in for she feared her ex may come by. Her cat Hamilton wanders into her room, chirping at her. He walks up to her and headbutts her elbow, begging for pets. Y/n happily obliged and gives Hamilton a good scratch under his chin, earning herself a loud purr. After a few minutes Hamilton hears a noise and runs downstairs. Y/n doesn't pay him any heed until she hears him meowing at the front door. "Fine I'll let you out," said Y/n yawning. She was very tired even though she didn't want to fall asleep. She heads downstairs, to the front door. Hamilton was pawing at the door. "Still want outside?" Y/n opens the front door and much to her dismay, Dinobot was standing on her front porch. "Well if it isn't Mr. Grumpypants. Come here to snap at me, huh?" Y/n rubs the sleep from her eyes.

"No I am here to return these," Dinobot hands Y/n the change of clothes he borrowed the other night from Y/n, "and as much as I hate saying this, to make peace for the time being. I know I can be a bit grumpy at times but..."

Y/n steps aside to let Dinobot inside. "Just dont start anything, okay?" Y/n yawns again. She watches Dinobot step through the door with tired eyes. She noticed he was carrying a box. "What's in the box?" Y/n asks.

"You'll see," said Dinobot as he made his way into the kitchen.

Y/n shrugs her shoulders. She was tired to the point of not even caring that Dinobot was even over in the first place despite the fact he can be rather grumpy. She heads into the living room and sits down in the couch. Shortly after Hamilton jumps up on her lap, making biscuits (for those of you that don't know, making biscuits is another term for a cat kneading its paws). Y/n pets Hamilton, who is now at this point purring loudly. "So why are you here again?"

After about ten minutes, Dinobot comes out of the kitchen, carrying a cup of tea. He walks over to Y/n and hands it to her. "Its Chamomile tea. It will help you relax. Besides from what I can tell, you need sleep. It's not good to fight sleep."

Y/n looks at the cup of tea that Dinobot handed her. "I'll drink the tea but I'll make no promises that I will fall asleep," said Y/n. She takes a drink bbn of the tea.

"If you don't mind me asking, why did you move here?" Dinobot asks.

Y/n set the cup of tea on the coffee table and turns on the PS4.  "Change of pace. I lived on a ranch with my parents. The ranch is next to a large forest which I pretty much had free reign to. Made friends with a conspiracy of ravens." Y/n sits back down on the couch.

"A conspiracy of ravens? You must of not had very many friends growing up," said Dinobot as he sits down on the couch next to Y/n.

"Not really except for the friends I had at school." Y/n logs into her PlayStation account and resumes playing Horizon Zero Dawn.

*Dinobot's POV *

Dinobot sits down next to Y/n on the couch and makes himself comfortable. "And here I thought you just like to play ARK."

"Meh. I don't always play ARK. I've got Horizon Zero Dawn, Skyrim, Fallout 4, Jurassic World Evolution, Mass Effect, and a few other games." Y/n plays Horizon Zero Dawn for another four hours and by that time she had finished the tea that  Dinobot had made for her. "I'm surprised you are still here. Yet I didn't need to chase you out because of your temper."

"I know when to keep my temper in check. But when you work at a cafe, you are bound to have a bad day when tempers flare." He gives Y/n a sideways glance. He could tell that fatigue was taking its toll. "Any family?"

"Part of my family live in the next state over. My mom and dad are both retired lawyers. During their retirement they opened a restaurant. They kind of retired early when I was born. Growing up, some of the popular kids thought that I could get them free food since my parents owned their own restaurant. When the popular kids found out I couldn't get them free food, they made my life a living hell. Dad had to go to the school and talk to the principal about how I was being treated at school by the kids. Things had taken a turn when I came home with a black eye and a bloody nose," said Y/n. She yawns again, no longer able to fight sleep. Without meaning too, she uses Dinobot's shoulder as a pillow. She tried to tell what happened after the black eye she gotten at school, but she had finally drifts off to sleep.

"Alright, kid. Let's get you too bed," said Dinobot. He picks up Y/n bridal style and carries her upstairs to her room. "Hopefully living here, life will be be better for you," said Dinobot.
