Well...It's a Start

*Y/n's POV*

Y/n stares at Dinobot. Trying to process what he has just asked her. It felt like she should run from the situation. But Dinobot was her friend. He never pushed her boundaries very much, not counting when they had first met. She wasn't really what the right thing to say is. He was nice but he did have his moments when his temper would flare but he would never raise a hand against her. Y/n calmly takes a deep breath and slowly let's it out. "Alright. I'll give you a chance and go on a date with you. I'll give you a chance as well. If you hurt me in any way, whether if it is verbal, physical, mental, or emotional, I will not hesitate to kick you to the curb and break your heart," said Y/n.

Dinobot chuckles when he hears Y/n's threat. "You have my word. I will not harm you in any way. Now go get dressed. I'll be taking you out to eat this morning."

Y/n yawns again. "So that's why you woke me up so damn early."

"I'll wait for you outside in the car. No need to rush," said Dinobot. He watches Y/n head upstairs. He leaves and shuts the door behind him. "I still need to figure out how to complete the spark bond..."

Y/n comes back downstairs and heads out, locking the door behind her. "So where to?" Y/n asks.

"We'll be going to a place to eat where you haven't been yet," said Dinobot.

"That doesn't answer my question," said Y/n with a groan.

*Y/n's POV*

Dinobot was right. He did take her to a place they haven't eaten at yet. Y/n had ordered a stack of Sweedish pancakes (they are a kind of flat pancakes) served with lingonberry syrup and blueberries. On the side she had a fruit salad made with six different fruits. The fruit salad had kiwi, Jabuticaba, banana, mango, blueberries, and papaya. And to drink, Y/n got a glass of orange juice. She had a feeling that she may later regret eating all this food but she didn't mind. Dinobot did say for her to order what she wanted, price didn't matter to him. What did was the fact he knew she was going to have a good breakfast. Y/n was about to take her first bite of pancakes when she could tell that Dinobot was about to ask her a question. "Hm?" She manages to say even with a bite of pancakes.

"So what do you know about this city?" Dinobot asks.

"Not very much."

"Since I know you'll be living here for quit a while, I might as well tell you a few things about this city," said Dinobot. "First of all, this city's population is around sixty-five percent of Cybertronions that live here, mainly the Maximals and Predicons. We all moved here many years ago from our home planet, Cybertron. Unfortunately our home planet, Cybertron, was ravaged by war that our ancestors, the Autobots and Decepticons, wedged against each other. As far as I know or even Optimus Primal knows, Cybertron is still lifeless."

"Do you think there could be a way to bring life back to Cybertron?"

Dinobot shrugs his shoulders. "Hard to say at this point." He could tell that Y/n was starting to get depressed over talking about such a sad subject. He decides to change topic. "Now tell me why you moved here other than to escape from your abusive ex."

"Actually I wasn't planning on moving here. It was kinda by...accident. what I dis was that I tacked up a map on my bedroom wall at my old home. Grabbed a few darts and threw them at the map. If the dart landed on a place I liked the name of or wanted to move to, I planned on moving there. A new start as I call it. The first dart landed on Deadwood, South Dakota. The second dart landed on Oxnard, California. The third dart landed on Paradise Falls, Michigan (I just made the name Paradise Falls up. Had to come up with a name for a place for the Maximals and Predicons to live in). I chose to move here. Packed up my stuff. Asked a couple of friends to help out, but instead they ditched me the last minute to do whatever."
