The Big Question

*Dinobot's POV*

It's been over a month since Dinobot's return. It was the middle of August. Around the time when Y/n movee into her home three years ago. Things were still kinda peaceful...well almost. Y/n had quite the cafe after she collapsed from exhaustion at work. Dinobot told her if she didn't quit soon, the stress would kill her, and that's what she did. It was five in the morning when Dinobot woken up. He gets out of bed and picks up his clothes from the night before. "Better get things started then." He puts his dirty clothes in the hamper and gets dressed. Dinobot leaves the house without waking Y/n up. He heads next door to the Maximals house and heads on inside. Since he still had his old room there he still had his copy of the key to the place. Dinobot heads upstairs and knocks on the door of Rattrap's room. "Hey, vermin, you awake yet?"

Rattrap opens his bedroom door, rubbing sleep from his eyes. "What do you want, chopperface? The sun isn't even up yet," said Rattrap with a yawn.

"I need your help. I plan on popping the question to Y/n."

Rattrap couldn't help but smile at the news he just heard. "Say no more. Give me a few minutes to get ready and I'll meet you downstairs." Rattrap closes his bedroom door.

Inside Rattrap's room, Dinobot could hear him tripping over things to get ready. "I've never seen him this happy in years," Dinobot tells himself as he heads downstairs. Dinobot heads into the kitchen. He finds Optimus Primal, Rhinox, and Cheetor having an early breakfast. "Why are you guys up?"

"Couldn't sleep," said Optimus Primal.

"Just finished work at the night club," said Rhinox.

"Just getting used to the fact I'm back this house," said Cheetor.

"Don't worry, Cheetor. You'll find your own sparkmate. Youll never know who it may be or when it will happen," said Rhinox before he takes a drink of his coffee. "Speaking of which, what brings you over here? I can hear Rattrap stumbling around his room."

"I've asked for his help. I plan on asking Y/n to marry me so I'll have his help to find the right ring for her," said Dinobot.

"I'm glad things are working out for both you and Y/n, Dinobot. You've both come a long way since you've both first met," said Optimus Primal.

Rattrap comes hurrying down the stairs, almost tripping over the last step. "What are you waiting for, chopperface. Let's go!" Rattrap puts his shoes on and runs out the door.

Dinobot and the others. "Dont tell Rattrap this but I plan on asking him to be my best man," said Dinobot before he leaves.

"We won't," said Optimus Primal.

Dinobot heads outside. Morning dew clung to the grass, making it glisten. He heads over to Rattrap's car. "Ready to head out?"

"Ready whenever you are, chopperface." Rattrap gets into his car. "Want to head somewhere to eat first so we can plan this out?" Rattrap asks as Dinobot gets into his car.

"You can choose if you want. I dont really care where we eat at," said Dinobot.

Rattrap backs out of the driveway and drives off down the street. "A lot has happened while you were gone. Both Rampage and Cryotek have caused a bit of chaos. I'm sure you heard what happened to Megatron's sparkmate. Rampage kidnapped a couple humans as well. The girl that was kidnapped by Rampage is doing better. Turns out, with Cryotek's help, Rampage tried to create a techno-organic. He tired to do the same thing that Cryotek did to Megatron's spark mate."

"You can't just force someone to be your sparkmate. Back during the war, a lot of us really didn't have a choice. We did ending up partnering up with those that didnt work out. It wasn't out of love," said Dinobot.
