*Dinobot's POV*

Dinobot sat in the hospital next to Y/n, both were in quiet meditation, using their bond to make it so the twins could survive. Both were born fourteen weeks early. But their birth came with a surprise. One was full human, which was a girl, and the other was half techno-organic, which was the boy. Tarantulas told them that it would be a miracle that the boy would survive. There hasn't been any known cases, as of yet where a techno-organic was born fourteen weeks early from their carrier, in Paradise Falls.

Dinobot holds Y/n in his arms. He felt her pain from the ordeal of the birth to her pain from fear of knowing that the twins might not make it. But he was still worried no matter what. "It's going to be alright, Y/n," said Dinobot.

"What if...."

"Keep those thoughts out of your head. Just focus on our bond. We need to in order for the twins to survive the night." Later that morning, around five, Dinobot leaves the room so Y/n could sleep. She needed rest. He decides to go check on the twins and ended up bumping into Tarantulas on the way there. "How are they?" Dinobot asks.

"Stable for right now. Both the boy and girl are somewhat doing better. Never knew humans could be born so small," said Tarantulas. "I don't know what caused the early birth. It could of been stress or something else completely unrelated. So until I find out the problem, Y/n is still not in the clear for the time being. I'll be going to fetch her here soon so I'll have you wait back at her room."

"I'll let her slee for right now so she can heal. When can we see the twins?"

"As soon as I can give the all clear," said Tarantulas before he leaves Dinobot alone in the hallway.

*Y/n's POV*

Y/n wakes up a bit when she feels the bed shift a bit when Dinobot lays back down besides her.

"Tarantulas will be coming here soon to come get you. Get some sleep while you can," said Dinobot. He pulls Y/n into his embrace and nuzzles his face into her hair before falling asleep himself.

Y/n lays in bed awake. She was too worried to fall back asleep. Soon enough Tarantulas comes into the room.

"How are you feeling?" Tarantulas asks.

"Still exhausted but for now, I'll manage."

"I'll have you come with me. I have a few questions to ask."

After about five minutes, Y/n was in Tarantulas's office at the hospital.

"I'm going to ask you a few questions in order to figure out what may have caused you to go into labor early. Were you experiencing any kind of stress during your pregnancy?" Tarantulas asks.

"Not that I know of. But there was a period of three weeks that I couldn't get out of bed because of how sick I was. That was back when I was four months into my pregnancy," said Y/n. Y/n proceeded to remind Tarantulas of the number of times she was bedridden when she was sick during her pregnancy. After answering some more questions, Tarantulas helps Y/n back to her hospital room. Dinobot was sitting in the chair besides the bed.

"When can we see thr twins?" Dinobot asks.

"Hopefully here soon," said Y/n.

"I still have to monitor their condition. Once they are stabilized again, I'll send one of the doctors to come find you so you can come see them," said Tarantulas  as he helps Y/n back into the bed. He leaves the room and heads back to his office.

"We still need to decide on names for the twins," said Dinobot. He reaches over to Y/n and takssa hold of her hand, squeezing it gently.

"I still like the name Amber for our little girl. Now we just need a name for her brother."

"We have time. We'll decide on one. So what did Tarantulas asks you about?"

"He's still trying to figure out what caused me to go into labor early. Stress could be one of those factors. I think it was because of those three weeks I was stuck in bed when I was sick. I think it was a blood clot."

"Tarantulas will find out what it is. What matters is that you survived the whole ordeal."

"Barely. If it wasn't because of our bond that kept me tethered to this world, I would have died, leaving the twins without a mother."

"You survived. That's what matters. The twins still have both their mother and their father to take care of them."

"Don't forget their extended family. Both the Maximals and the Predicons are their family as well."

"Rattrap did volunteer to babysit when we need one. Cheetor did offer to help as well."

"Plus pretty much everyone offered to help. Plus we have my family as well," said Y/n with laugh.

"I'm going to leave for a bit so I can get something to eat. Not really in the mood for hospital food. Plus I plan on getting some rest too. I'll be back in the morning," said Dinobot before he gets our of the chair. He lewns over and kisses Y/n. "Don't cause too much trouble while I am gone."

"I won't. I'm still trying to get my strength back," said Y/n before she kissed Dinobot back.

"I'll see if I can talk Tarantulas into making it so you get a bit more to eat."

"Aiden," said Y/n. "Amber's brother will be named Aiden."

"I'll go let Tarantulas know," said Dinobot before he leaves the room.

Y/n covers herself up with the blanket to ward of the chill. Before she falls asleep, she reaches out with her bond to her twins, Amber and Aiden. She could tell they were okay for the time being, but with them being born prematurely, that could change in an instant. So for the time being, Y/n keeps her bond tethered between them, giving Amber and Aiden the love they needed.
