Planning for the Wedding

*Y/n's POV*

Four months have passed since Dinobot had proposed to Y/n and everyone was busy planning for the wedding. Y/n was at her parents home with Dinobot, planning out the theme for their wedding. Megatron had flown them there so that way it wouldn't be a two day trip. Y/n and her mom were busy trying to decide on a theme for the wedding. Dinobot was out with Y/n's dad and brother, shopping for a tuxedo. "I was thinking about going for a different theme than what is normally done for a wedding," said Y/n.

"What are you thinking about for a theme?" Hellen asks.

"How about a mascarade theme?"

"A mascarade theme?"

"You know how in Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask where two of the characters made the Sun mask and the Moon mask which joined to create the Couples mask? Well this idea is kinda like that but with Dinobot and I each wear half a mask designed how we want it to be. At the end of the wedding ceremony, we join the two halves of the mask, to represent nothing hidden from us, that we are now one," said Y/n as she closes one of the magazines of wedding themes.

"When Dinobot gets back let him know about what theme you want to go for," said Hellen. She gets up from her spot on the couch. "How about we get an early lunch started so that when they come back, we can eat as a family."

"Sounds like a plan." Y/n gets up from her spot on the couch as well, stretching to get the stiffness out of her joints and muscles from sitting for too long.

After another hour Dinobot, Mike, and Edward return home. They were all exhausted from having to run to different stores to try and find a tuxedo in Dinobot's size. They all head into the kitchen.

"So how did everything go?" Y/n asks.

*Dinobot's POV*

"Exhausting. You have no idea on how hard it was to find a tuxedo in my size," said Dinobot.

"How was it exhausting?" Y/n asks.

"We had to go to three different stores before we found a black colored tuxedo in stock," said Mike.

"Speaking of colors, I've decided on a theme for the wedding," said Y/n.

"What did you decide on?" Dinobot asks.

Y/n tells her father, brother, and Dinobot about her idea for the theme for her wedding.

"Sounds like a good idea. Now we just need to find someone who will make a mask fit together like a puzzle piece," said Edward.

At this point, Dinobot starts tuning everyone out except for Y/n. His sole focus was only on her. How can a guy like me end up with a girl like her, he thinks to himself. After he finishes eating, he heads outside. After a few minutes, he could tell that Y/n was following behind him.

"Something up?" Y/n asks.

"This is a lot to process,Y/n. Its hard to imagine that we would get to this point in our lives," said Dinobot

"At least mom isnt asking when we would have kids."

Dinobot laughs nervously. Thst was another huge step he knew that both him and Y/n would have to overcome when the time was right. "That's one more thing we have to think about here soon." Dinobot looks up at the sky. The sun was at its peak. "Just wondering, how much longer do you want to stay here at your parent's house?"

"Mainly trying to work up the courage to go visit Icebird's grave. I still have a hard time seeing it."

Dinobot steps over to Y/n and pulls her closer to him. "Rampage wanted to hit where it hurt most in your case. Speaking of which, Depthcharge is in pursuit of him. Shouldn't be too much longer before Rampage is captured."

"Who's Depthcharge again?"

"Oh right I forgot you haven't met him still. He's pretty much a longer. Prefers to do things on his own. Heard he works at a scuba instructor at one of the island resorts on one of the coasts. We can pay him a visit if you want to go scuba diving on our honeymoon."

Y/n gives Dinobot a quick kiss on the cheek. "One thing at a time. Remember I still need to go dress shoppjng."

"As per your tradition dictacts, the groom won't see the dress until the wedding day. By the way who's taking you dress shopping?"

"Airrazor and Waspinator. That way we can spend some time together as friends."

"Just stay out of trouble, okay?"

"Can't make any promises with those two in the picture," said Y/n laughing.

*Y/n's POV*

After spending a couple more days in South Dakota, before Y/n said her goodbyes to Icebird's grave, Y/n and Dinobot were flown home by Megatron. He decided it would be best that Y/n and Dinobot would spend the time needed to plan for the wedding than to be stuck on the road traveling. Once inside their home, Y/n gives both Airrazor and Waspinator a call to let them know she was home.

"Anything planned while I'm gone or when I get home?" Y/n asks Dinobot.

"Maybe," said Dinobot with teasing smirk. "How about we wait til we get to that point. Nothing is truly set in stone."

"I know. Plus I know for a fact that anything can happene between now and the wedding."

"I think it would be best if you eat first before going dress shopping. Rather not have you too wound up on sugar. I know you. Whenever you go hang out with Airrazor and Waspinator, you eat too much sugary foods and I dont feel like dealing with one of your sugar highs."

Y/n couldnt help but laugh. "But you'll still love me right."

Dinobot kisses Y/n. "Nothing will ever change that and ever will stop me from loving you " Dinobot heads into the kitchen. While he was busy cooking, Dinobot decided to give Megatron a call and ask a favor from his sparkmate. Megatron happily obliged and told Dinobot that she will meet up with Y/n at their house. Once the food was ready and the table was set, Dinobot tells Y/n about his plan. "I hope you dont mind having someone else joining your dress hunt. I called in a favor from Megatron to see if he doesn't mind having his sparkmate help out as well. I know it's a bit short noticed, but with her help I'm sure you'll find the dress you are looking for."

"I don't mind really. The more help the better. To tell you the truth I kinda don't know what kind of dress I'm looking for, really," said Y/n before she takes a bite of her food. "Like I said, a lot could happen between now and the wedding."

"How about this. Find a wedding dress that makes you happy to see yourself in. Not dress that is influenced by someone else's decision. I know you want to be happy on our special day. I just don't want to see you sad wearing a dress that you didn't pick out yourself."

"Sounds like a plan. I'll pick out a dress I can see myself happy to be in. The day I walk down the aisle will be my happiest day yet."

"Just don't get too carried away shopping today, okay? We still need to go see Botanica about the floral arrangements for the wedding."

"Will do. But where will that leave you while I'm out dress shopping?"

"Rattrap and I have our own shopping to do today. I plan on telling him he's going to be my best man at the wedding today as well."

"Just don't cause too much trouble, okay?" Y/n finishes eating and outs her plate in the sink. "I'll try not to be out for too long."

"Go have fun with your friends. I'll be here when you get home." Dinobot gives Y/n a kiss before she runs upstairs to get herself ready to go dress shopping. He smiles to himself knowing for a fact no matter what happens, he'll still be happy with Y/n.
