Sirius Black's Lover

It's after the Order of Pheonix. Harry was walking with the Dursley. They hadn't said a word since the Pheonix Order talked to them. Suddenly a woman came up to Harry.

"Harry? Can we talk?" The woman asked.

"Excuse me but who are you?" Harry asked suspiciously.

"I knew Sirius" The woman said. "Can we talk in private"

Harry followed her a bit away with his wand ready. They went into a empty room.

"You probably don't know who I am" The woman said. "I'm Y/n"

"How did you know Sirius?" Harry asked.

"We...We were together" Y/n said.

"How come it that I've never heard of you?" Harry asked.

"He was planning on telling you this summer" She said. "Not many know about us. Remus is the only one alive. Sirius wanted to protect me so he kept me as a secret so that the death eaters wouldn't come after me"

Harry loosened the grip on his wand. He could see some tears in the corner of her eyes.

"You should have seen him when he got out of Azkaban" Y/n said. "He was weak and unhappy. I had to take care of him for a while before went out on a mission. He sent owls to me. It wasn't much, he was sad and depressed. But then he met you"

Harry could see a tiny smile on the woman's face.

"It was such a change. His letters got longer and happier. I couldn't help to smile when he wrote to me about his godson" Y/n said.

"Why are you telling me all this?" Harry asked.

"You deserve to know" Y/n said. "You were the happiest thing in his life. You were everything to him. But now that he's gone he left you. "

Harry nodded slowly.

"You might not trust me" Y/n said. "But promise me if you need anything just let me know okay? I might not be Sirius but I want to help you. To continue with the thing Sirius never finished"

"I promise" Harry said.

"Here" She suddenly said and took out a ring. "It belonged to Sirius. I think that he would want you to have it"

"No keep it" Harry said. "You need that more than I"

Then suddenly she hugged him.

"So go back to your family" She said when she let go. "They're waiting"

Then Harry disappeared out of sight. And Y/n did the same but in the other direction. It had started to rain so she took out an umbrella as she walked in the rain. She went into her apartment and went straight to a room.

It was a room for Sirius, Lily and James. Their pictures were on a shelf surrounded by lights. She took out a rose and laid it in front of Sirius picture.

"I met Harry toady" She started. "He was as you told me. A great wizard with a heart of gold"

Tears started to roll down her cheeks.

"I wish that you were here" She said. "I miss you Sirius. You were a great man and you didn't deserve to die"

Suddenly she fell on her knees.

"This is my fault" She cried. "I was the one suggesting that we should have trust Peter with the secret instead of you. It is my fault that that wonderful boy grew up without parents. I was afraid. Afraid that the dark lord should have come after you if it was you"

Tears rolled down one after one and made her cheeks completely wet.

"Because of me I lost Lily and James. And now I lost you. I don't have anyone else. I don't have anything to live for"

Suddenly she heard someone coming in to her apartment.

"Y/n?" A voice called.

She wanted to pretend that none of this had happen. She wanted to wipe away the tears and put on a smile but she knew that it was no idea.
It was already to late. Remus came in.

"Y/n?" He said worried when he saw her crying on the floor. He looked at the picture of Sirius, Lily and James and understood.

He sat down beside her and hugged her.

"It's okay" He comforted her.

"No it's my fault" She cried. "Everything is my fault. They all died because of me"

"Hey look at me" Remus said and she looked into his eyes. "None of this is your fault. It's Pettigtew's. Don't blame yourself. Sirius wouldn't want that"

"But I have no one" She said. "I have nothing to live for"

"You still have me" Remus said. "And live. For Sirius. Do it for him. Think of all the good memories with him"

All the memories played quickly one by one. But there was one special for her.

They were sitting near the black lake. Y/n have had a crush on Sirius in ages and now they were talking all by themselves while the others had detention or studied.
It took them years to confess their love. They had been together in a year and surprising it was Sirius who took the first step.

"Y/n?" Sirius suddenly said.

"Hm?" She said looking into his eyes.

"I want you to have this" Sirius said.

Y/n looked at it. It was a rose.

"It's enchanted" Sirius said. "It never dies"

"It looks like one of those rare roses that dies when a person stop loving another" Y/n said.

"As I said it never dies" Sirius said. "I love you Y/n and I want to give the world to you. If I lost you I would go crazy. I know that I might not be the man you dreamed of but you are the light in my life and I can't imagine a world without you"

"Sirius... You're more than enough for me" She said as she moved closer into Sirius arms. "I love you and I want to build a future with you"

Sirius smiled in relief when she said does words. Then he bent down so that you're face only were some inches away.

"Don't ever change Y/n" Sirius said. "Be the wonderful person you are"

"I would do anything for you" She said.

And then he bent down and kissed her.

Tear continued rolling down her cheeks as she thought about the moment. Then she turned around and saw the rose on the shelf. It was still as beautiful as the the she got it.

"Thanks Remus" She said. "Can I just have a minute"

"Sure" Remus said. "I'll go and prepare some tea for us"

When he disappeared she went up to the picture of Sirius.

"I miss you" She said. "I will never forget you and I'll never stop loving you"

I went up and lay my hand on her shoulder.

"It's okay love" I said. "I'll never stop loving you either"
