Remus Lupin: In Love

Congratulations to those who guessed right on the last chapter!

I just now realised that I haven't had one chapter where Remus just enjoy
his life. It's time to give the little wolf the happiness he deserved.

Remus Lupin, a sweet guy and book nerd. A werewolf and a genius, but best of all. He was all yours. Your Remus Lupin, you really liked the sound of that.

Right now, he was sitting on the couch in the common room in front of the open fire witch a book about muggle myths and their connection to the wizarding world.

You sneaked up to him and sat down in front of him. You were enjoying the warmth from the fire when you felt his arms around your waist, dragging you up and into his embrace. You were shocked at first but relaxed when you realised that you were lying on Remus. He had his arms around you and the scent of chocolate filled your nose.

"Cuddly today?" You asked with a smile.

"Do you want me to let go?" He sounded almost worried until you snuggled close to him if that was possible.

"Let go of me and I'll never speak with you again," You joked.

"You really think that's a threat?" He chuckled.

"Yes," You said. "Because you can't go a day without talking about your favourite books and I'm the only one who's patient enough to listen."

You saw how a smile grew wide in his face. He kissed you lightly on the cheek and a small blush grew on your face. Even if you had been together for more than six months you still couldn't help that warm feeling that spread through your body every time he kissed you.

"Do you call that a kiss?" A voice called from behind you and James together with Sirius was coming down the dorm stairs. "Can't you do better Moony?"

Your face got a little bit redder than before. After six months and you were still insecure around his friends. They were nice and funny people but a little bit too much, too often.

"If you excuse me," Remus mumbled. "I'm going to take care of some animals that are supposed to be outside."

He let go of you and his warmth disappeared with it. You heard how the young duo ran up the stair and then a pair of heavy steps follow them. It didn't take him long before he came back and you were safe in his arms again.

Remus had just come back from a prefect meeting when he heard a scream by the lake. He recognised your scream and ran towards the direction just to see your body in the lake.

Alive and laughing because this was going to be a happy story. It seemed like James and Sirius had carried you to the lake just to throw you in.
You tried to be mad at them, but you couldn't help but laugh. Especially because Sirius feel into the water during the process.

"Having fun here I see," Remus said with a straight face and James turned his face towards his werewolf friend.

"Come on Moony," James said. "We were just having a little bit of fun. Y/n is fine."

Remus was about to say something smart and sassy when suddenly James was pulled into the water. Behind him were you, with your wand out.

"Wingardium Leviosa doesn't work on people," You said with a smile. "But it works on cloaks."

Remus was laughing as he approached his beautiful girlfriend. James broke the water surface but was too shocked to say something.

"A hug maybe?" You asked when Remus came closer.

"No thanks,"

You hugged him anyway and got him completely wet. He sat down and pulled you down with him, while the damage was already done why not continue.

"I adore you," Remus said as you laid on his lap. "I don't know if I can say like anymore. You drive me crazy and to be honest I think I love you."

You froze and so did he. This was the first time he said something like that. You'd been together for six months and he told you that he loved you. This was like a dream come true.

"I love you too," You automatically said and he let go of the breath he didn't realise that he was holding. "I'll probably do that for a while. For years."

"Much can happen during the years," Remus said. "Don't expect so much."

"Is this your way to say that you're having doubts?" You sat up and looked at him with worried eyes.

"No no no no," He said quickly. "I just said I love you. Why would I do that if I'm having doubts? Your presence makes my day and our small kisses still send the same feelings as it did the first time."

"So you're not having doubts?" You asked unsurely.

"I'm scared actually," He admitted. "I'm scared because I love you so much. What if you lose interest for me? What if you fall in love with someone else? What if I'm not good enough for you?"

"You? Not good enough?" You asked. "You're the definition of perfect. You are everything I've ever wished for. I love you, Remus, never forget that."

He pulled her closer to him. He knew that the girl in his arms would solve every problem in his life, just by being there. His fingers touch her cheek so that she would face him, and then, without warning. He kissed her, for real this time. She quickly responded back and let her hand run through his hair.

"That's a real kiss!" You could hear James scream.

"Go and get some Moony!" Sirius supported.

Peter was just standing there while whistling at the couple because I don't like him enough to give him a proper roll in this chapter.

You smiled at each other when you let go because you knew that you were each other lovers.
