And blah blah blah. Another round of our lecture from our Professor in Business Marketing. Napahikab ako at inayos ang pagkakaupo ko.

Kulang pa rin ako sa tulog. Naidlip lang ako ng kaonti at hindi na nakapagpahinga ng maayos. I bet you already know why, right?

"Okay that's it for today I hope you will all soon apply all of my lectures to you. I hope to see your faces in the corporate world, soon. Class dismiss."

Usapan kaagad ng mga kaklase ko ang bumalot da buong silid. Just the typical classroom when the teacher is already out.

"Grabe goosebumps ako sa sinabi ni Ma'am. Sounds like parang end of our class na tuloy."

"Mas nainspire lang ako lalo maging CEO ng sarili kong kompanya. Grabe!"

I cannot help but smile at my classmates. They're right. A few months from now we will be graduating already and will soon face the real world outside these corners of our beloved University.

Napaisip tuloy ako. Will I be a successful businesswoman someday? Will I rule and handle my own company soon?

The ideas of me wearing corporate attires and attending to different meetings and conferences and signing papers made me excited. Nabuhay ang diwa ko dahil sa mga naiisip ko ngayon.

I hope I will make it. Soon.

Pagkalabas na pagkalabas ko sa classroom ay kinuha ko kaagad ang cellphone ko para itext si Mika. Buong araw ko atang hindi nakita ang babeng yon simula kaninang umaga. Wala man lang text o ano. I am not used to it.

To: Mika

Hey where are you? Haven't seen you for like a day already.

Sinend ko iyon sa kanya at naglakad muna ako sa quadrangle ng University para magpahangin ng kaonti. Tapos na ang klase ko ngayong araw at gusto ko sanang lumabas kami ngayong araw ni Mika.

Hindi nagtagal ay nag vibrate ang cellphone ko. Mika replied to my message and I checked it right away.

Sorry girl didn't tell you that I cut class today hehe. I'm with Bret right now so don't worry honey xoxo

What?! Nag cut class para makipagkita sa boyfriend?! Patay talaga tong babaeng 'to sa akin pag nagkita kami ulit.

We both had a deal before. Nung nalaman kong may boyfriend na siya nangako kami sa isa't isa na it will always be school over anything else. Na dapat alam namin kung ano ang mas uunahin at kung ano ang mas nakakabuti.

But now this woman! May ginagawa na namang kalokohan!

I let out a sigh when I realized my best friend is not available today when I am now in the mood for some leisure. Tumayo nalang ako at pinagpagan ang damit ko para umuwi na pero nagulat ako ng may nabunggo ako.

"Ouch."

Nasapo ko ang noo ko at napapikit. Kanina muntikan na akong masagasaan ng sasakyan, ngayon tao naman ang nakabungo sa akin?
