Another normal college day for me. Mag-isa lang ako ngayon dahil absent si Mika dahil may inaasikasong papeles na hindi ko alam para saan. Siguro para sa migration nila na hindi ko alam kung kailan.

I was peacefully seating in one of the benches in our quadrangle while I am listening to some Coldplay music when my precious eyes caught something. Matagal bago ko nakilala na si James naglalakad kasama ang isang babae at ang babaeng iyon ay walang iba kung hindi si Nicole.

Of course gagraduate nalang kami ng college si Nicole pa rin. Minsan naiisip ko nalang na wala na bang bago? I mean why not me?

But of course I am just joking. Pero, pwede din namang totohanin.

I saw them strolling around our campus and of course both of them are such a head turner kasi paano ba naman galing sa kabilang school si Nicole syempre ibang uniform ang suot niya. Hindi naman kasi ganoon ka strikto dito I mean visitors can come in here.

Nung napansin kong medyo malapit na sila sa akin, I decided to gather all of my things and to find a peaceful spot away from this scene.

"Look who's here babe. It's Nadine. Right?"

Natigilan ako sa ginagawa ko nang biglang may nagsalita sa likod ko. I rolled my eyes secretly before facing them. Another plastic moment.

"You can stay here Nadine. No need for you to go. Unless you're being bitter about it. You know."

Nagulat ako sa sinabi ni Nicole at hindi ko maintindihan saan nanggagaling yung pagiging bitchy niya sa akin.

"Excuse me?"

"Nics that's enough." James interrupted our converstation. "Sorry she's just joking around. You can stay here hindi naman kami uupo. Napadaan lang dito."

With that umalis na sila at naiwan akong nangiggil para kay Nicole. I really don't know where her hate for me came from. I mean hello hindi nga kami naguusap so why would she even hate me?

"Girl, I know. She's just insecure. Or maybe, threatened by you."

On that day I told Mika about what happened earlier sa school since absent siya and she missed the drama awhile ago.

"I don't know Miks. Gusto ko lang maka graduate ng walang gulo. I don't really care about Nicole. I just don't get it why she's such a bitch to me."

Nagkibit balikat si Mika at nagpatuloy sa ginagawa naming nail art. We have a lot of time therefore we thought of having a nail spa party.

Habang busy kami sa pag kukwentuhan, biglang may nag doorbell and I volunteered to open the door. Maybe the pizza delivery or maybe it's Bret.

"Hi hello bakit-"

Naputol ang pagbati ko nang nakita ko kung sino ang nakatayo sa labas ng pinto. Nagulat ako dahil wala siya sa choices ng inaakala kong bisita ni Mika ngayon.

I don't know how to feel but I just know that my heart is not in normal state again. It feels like it's coming out again.

"A-ah hi?"

"James?"

Yeah right. It's James. The reason why he's here? I don't know.

"I was about to contact you but I remembered I don't have your number so I asked Bret and he gave me this address kasi nandito ka daw ngayon."

Sa hinaba haba ng sinabi niya sa akin, "I was about to contact you" lang ang nag sink in sa utak ko. Bakit kaya?!

But before anything else, a moment of silence for being such a tanga and assuming about this one.
