Unknown.
I hate funerals.
It's not because of the business i'm in. It's not because of how many people i've sent to an early grave. It's the show of it all that I can't stand. Take for example the funeral that I'm at right now. The parents lost both sons, (one in which I had a hand or two in). The first to meet the ground was an abolute terror and quite frankly, the world is a better place without him. They didn't shed many tears for him.
This second son to meet his life choices in another frame of space was the eldest.
Son.
Brother.
Husband.
Closet sadist.
Unfaithful spouse.
But you won't hear those last two during the eulogy. No, you'll hear what a great person he was and how much he loved his wife... So much so that he was sinking himself balls deep into her younger sister every chance he got... but he loved his wife.
His grade A homemaker of a wife, who treated him like he was the sun, moon and stars. The wife, who is sitting dutifully next to her father and mother in law and consoling them in their time of grief while bemoaning this turn of events with regard her own life.
She looks like she could use a shoulder to cry on but her in laws are broken. Her younger sister is notably missing from this somber gathering, though, Liam and his wife are here. Fingers grasped, decked in all black. Harry is also here, reeking of baby lotion and the bags under his eyes are quite telling, but he isn't saying a word.
As if I didn't already know.
Liam, Harry and the security here with them keep shifting to survey the room and surroundings, no doubt for Sophia and I must say that I'm quite curious as to her whereabouts myself. Returning to the scene of a crime is never wise... however, not being here to console your sister in her time of need raises more questions.
I get up and leave. I've had enough of the show for today. It's nice to see Aubri and Liam looking so strong.
They'll need it.
