She doesn't know how long it has been since she escaped. It felt like years, but she highly doubts that much time passed. Maybe months the longest, weeks the shortest? For sure, as soon as she saw the sun and moon, she couldn't help but be a sunset lover.

She struggled on her own. She didn't leave with anyone and she didn't join a group. She grew separated from the Blue who carried the Yellow as soon as they escaped the camp. Who knows where they were now. Who knows where she was now.

She did get supplies for herself. She had a bag full of clothes and snacks that she managed to get from whatever places she managed to find and didn't have a problem breaking into. She bathed at wherever she could, and that included lakes or ponds. You know, land-water provided by nature. Might as well use what was given to her.

She was currently in the woods at the edge of the road. It was daytime and a lot of bright yellow light surrounded her. She didn't like to walk deep into the woods because she feared she would get lost and then she was really going to struggle the most.

She stopped walking when she heard a vehicle coming near. She looked around, figuring out where which direction it was coming from before she walked into the woods more. She froze as she heard the vehicle stop. The sounds it made sounded as though they belonged to a big vehicle, like a van or something.

She grew nervous as she heard voices. "No, no, no," she mouthed to herself. Her biggest fear was getting caught and getting sent back to the camp. If that were to happen, she'll for sure get the worst treatment she'll ever get.

She took a few steps back, but while at it she stepped on a twig. It snapped and her eyes widened the second she heard the sound.

"Did you guys hear that?"

"What? Who cares? Just change the tire so we can move on."

From where she was standing she could see the van. She couldn't see the people, but from the sound of their voices, they didn't really sound like adults. Teenagers maybe, but not adults. It doesn't matter, they could be skip tracers for all she knew. They come in all shapes and sizes.

"I'm gonna go see-"

"No! Don't you dare, man."

"I'll be back, don't worry-"

"I swear if you do-"

"Nothing will happen, I'll make sure of it."

At the sound of his footsteps now making way towards her, she grew nervous. She didn't know what to do, but as soon as she saw a glimpse of him, she immediately ran away from him. She ran towards the deep part of the woods.

He caught sight of her though. "Hey, wait!"

She didn't listen to him. Her backpack on her back made it a bit difficult to run at her great speed because of how heavy it was. The straps weren't that great either, so she had to make sure they didn't snap off and cause the bag to fall.
