"I still don't understand," Chubs said as he fixed his glasses.

"I know it's still very hard to believe, Chubs," Luce said with a sigh.

She officially joined the group a few weeks ago. It's been quite a ride with them and she's actually secretly glad she's with them. She thought she would have been thrown out as soon as she told them she was a Purple, but to her surprise, they wanted her to stay. Some more than others, but still, she was wanted. She was even liked by Chubs to the point he lets her call him Chubs instead of Charles.

"I just don't understand why you weren't killed off or something, no offense."

She shook her head at him as she didn't mind. She's been wondering the same exact thing. If the Reds and Oranges were removed, then why wasn't she? She is most definitely worse than the two, even combined.

"Believe me, I still wonder that myself," she mumbled.

"Was anybody else a Purple like you?" Liam asked. "Family-wise I mean."

She thought about it for quite some time, but she shook her head as no real answers came to mind. "As far as I know of I'm the only living Purple within the family."

"Do you have any siblings?"

At first, she nodded, but then she shook her head. "I uhh, I had a twin brother." She looked down at her lap as events started to play in her mind. "He didn't survive. I don't know if he was a Purple though."

He looked over at her, noticing the change. "I'm sorry to hear."

She shrugged before looking at him. "It's fine. Figured it was going to be said eventually anyway." A sudden idea popped into her head, causing her eyes to turn purple. "Maybe that's why my mom sent me away," she thought out loud.

"I see purple eyes," Chubs said as he noticed her brown eyes now being purple. "Penny for your thoughts, please. Well, no penny but please do explain what you're thinking."

She changed her position to face them as she started to explain, "My brother died when we were young because of the so-called disease. I never witnessed his death, but I was aware of it. We're twins, so in a way, we feel what's going on with each other but only if it's bad. I just remember waking up and my brother no longer being around. My mom didn't tell me much other than he didn't survive."

An idea popped into Chub's head. "And because your brother didn't survive, your mom knew you were next."

She nodded. "Exactly. She knew something was going to happen to me. It took more than one sign, but as soon as she realized I survived she had me taken away." She bit the inside of her cheek as she frowned a little. Her eyes remained purple. "But I didn't stop having the twin feelings after he didn't survive. I still have these feelings as though he's still alive, even now."
