Operation: 100 Days With Him
Epilogue

Blood is rushing down her face. Her arms, limbs and legs are throbbing.  She could feel the numbness of her body. Her head screams for the pain to stop but it can't. She tried to open her eyes, but it can't flinch to move a bit. The only thing she know, she is dying. She won't last long.

We will meet again, my love.

From a distance, gasps are heard from the people around. They cannot hide the horrid look on their faces that send shivers to their spine. Cars screeching, tire breaks, and people screaming for help. Someone is calling for a medical assistance. She even heard it. She wanted to stop that person from calling because she knows that she will die soon but no voice came out from her mouth. She was to weak to speak. The accident made a scene in the street.

She had an accident again, but this time it was her own decision. She saved a little girl who is crossing the street from a car that is approaching by.

The little girl? Where is she? Is she okay? Her scribbled thoughts shifted to the little girl.

She tried once again to move a bit but her body betrayed her. It seems like her body was paralyzed from the impact of the car. Half of her face is now covered with blood. For the last time, her eyelids start to open slowly. Blurred and fragment visions of her surroundings is all she could see. Different pairs of eyes are around her. The awful look in their eyes made her realize one thing. People realize your worth when you are dying. Scanning the surroundings, the little girl was okay but she looks shattered from what happened. She was shaking. She was with a woman hugging her tightly while the woman carrying her is yelling for help.

"Help us! Please.." Cracked voice of the woman. She was crying.

The little girl was okay. She was okay. Chanting continues.

From a distance, she could clearly see a man walking towards her direction. He was wearing all white clothes, smiling widely towards her but he looks familiar. The way he smiles, looks and walks seems like he is Heather.

Heather Alexander Morone -- the guy she loves and will always be. Her first and last.

Shs tried so hard to pay attention to the man although pain is running all over body. She wanted to reach him out, but she can't.

He is here. Her brain keeps on telling her. A tear fell down from her eyes knowing that they will become together this time. Ambulance sirens heard from a distance.

"Excuse me.." Maawtoridad na boses ng mga rescuers. People paved way for the rescuers to pass through.

Few seconds later, her eyes immediately shut close. She cannot feel the weight of her body anymore. There was silence. Total silence. Darkness. Her heartbeat stopped.

Seconds later, her eyes opened again but this time she saw herself floating in the thin air. Heather joined her later on.

"I miss you. What you did was incredibly brave. Gusto man kita kagalitan pero I can't. You did the right thing. You just offered your own life.. and I salute you for that.." He was proud for her for what she did. He knows if he was in the shoes of Rian, he'll do the same thing. Save people. Save lives.

Someone yelled from the rescuers, "She lost her heartbeat. Let us try to revive her.."

She looked at her body for the last time. She did not regret anything what she did although she sacrificed her own life. "I love you." Heather whispers. Rian turned to him, "Always.." She answered and smiled.

She is now in peace. She was with him. They are now together once again.

She jerted awake from that dream. She could feel that tears are streaming down from her face. Her pillows are somewhat wet because of her tears. Pakiramdam niya noong panahon na iyon ay siya ang babaeng nasagasaan at namatay, but she wasn't. It was her Tita but how come napanaginipan niya ito at this time it was her? Everything felt surreal. Her chest is still pounding, and her body is now covered with sweat.

It was already past 9 a.m. She overslept but it was good thing because somehow she felt connected to her Tita. Hindi man niya alam kung ano ang tunay na ikinamatay nito but dreaming of her Tita feels like she has a mission to do.

Their eyes are both glued to the television. They are watching it all over again -- for the nth time. It was the One Great Love's show kung saan na-feature ang istorya nila Tita Rian and Tito Heather. Heather was my Tita's first and last love. Just like other clichè love story -- they met, fell in love, cried of love but they never ended together.

How great woman she was and how strong she was. Sa katunayan, I was named after her -- Angelie Marrianne but my nickname was Ayan para magkaroon naman ng konting distinction kay Tita Rian. She was my father's younger sister. She visits me every now and then through dreams.

It was on Mama's sixth month of pregnancy ng malaman nila na babae pala ang pinagbubuntis nito, which was me.

"One day, you will be the bridge to the lovestory that was meant to be reborn; you will be the one to change our tragic fate.."

The message was not totally clear but one thing I know is that I have a mission to do.
