Chapter 11: The Date of Hearts

Heather Alexander Morone's POV

"Wow. This place seems so nice. Where are we?" Palinga palinga niya sa paligid.

I am so freaking nervous.

After parking the car, bubuksan niya ang pinto pero pinigilan ko siya. Dali-dali akong lumabas at pinagbuksan siya ng pinto. I handed her my hand and said, "Shall we go?"

She nodded and gave her hand, "Sure."

Nakakailang lakad palang kami ng bigla siyang nagsalita, "Where are we Heather?"

We are in the place where we first dated long time ago. I wanted to say that, but my jaw dropped literally.

Sinalubong kami isang waiter pagkapasok ng restaurant.

"This way sir." Hinatid kami ng waiter sa isang private room.

Pagkapasok na pagkapasok I could see in her eyes that she likes it. I am not sure if she could remember this place. There is a soft music in the background, a table for two persons, and a candle in the middle.

I pulled the chair for her, she simply smiled and said "Thank you."

I sat in the chair in front of her. I could clearly see the gleam in her eyes. She is such an epitome of beauty.

How lucky I was to have this girl? And I will wait no matter how long it is, to have you back into my arms.

She was quiet the whole time. She is busy eating and the silence kills me. I want to have a conversation with her but how will I start it?

"Hey, may dumi ba sa mukha ko?" Her voice got me back to my senses. Well, she just caught me staring at her.

I was not able to answer right away when waiters started to come over. They brought our foods -- Adobo, Menudo, Pusit, Sarciado at Pancit Bihon. Another waiter brought our drinks.

"Wala naman." Pasimple kong sagot. With that note, she continued eating.

"Can I ask?" I casually asked her.

"Sure. What is it?" Pasimple netong pinunasan ang bibig and her eyes looked directly at me.

"Uhm. Do you still love him?"

I could sense that she was shocked from my question.

"Uh. Maybe? Well. There is this pang of feeling that I miss him although i can't recall him. My heart still longs for that guy even thought my memory doesn't recall him."

She misses me, yet she doesn't remember me yet.

"Oh I see." I simply replied while tapping my fingers to the table.

"I want to tell you something, but don't laugh."

"What is it?"

"Well, you know what. I keep on seeing you on my dreams. Ironically it is but have we met before?"

Her words must have struck me. Its either I admit the truth or lie to her.

"Yes. I think so. So tell me, what I am doing in your dream?" I sipped a drink from my wine.
