Temashop.dk was a costume shop in Denmark that created this holiday to promote awareness for those with hair loss or chemotherapy. There are certain prejudices that people think about people who wear wigs.
Most think they wear it because they had lost their hair but this isn't always the case. Many have used their wigs for acting, an accessory, or for helping them create a different attitude or personality for themselves.
