A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away... humans celebrated a day called Star Wars Day. It was created by fans to celebrate the world-famous series. Star Wars is an amazing example of science fiction - the story tells of intergalactic wars, powerful warriors known as the Jedi, and the struggle between dark and light. There are no wrong ways to celebrate this day - some popular suggestions are movie marathons, cooking or baking Star Wars recipes, even dressing up as your favorite character! Speaking of favorite characters, who is your all-time favourite Jedi? Or Sith? I personally like Ahsoka and Ventress from the animated Star Wars series. Let me know what you think!
Star Wars Day is widespread on social media and has its own channels to promote the hashtag #StarWarsDay. Lots of adoring users create fanart, stories and costumes to showcase their love for the franchise. What will you do to celebrate? Sit on the couch and browse YouTube? Because that’s what I would do as well.
