So you might be wondering, what is this strange day? And what kind of patches are we talking about?
Well first off, this is a day to celebrate patches. Yes, patches of any kind! Patches on quilts, eye patches, a Girl Scout patch, you name it! But why do we celebrate this day? Is it really that important? Well, it's more than just the patches, it is the message that it gives: to remember the little things in life.
What should we do to celebrate this day? There are many things you could do! Maybe write an ode to patches, where an eye patch, sow a quilt using patches of fabric, you could even patch up a relationship with a friend. (Terrible joke; I apologize)
