Day: 044
Extraterrestrial Culture Day
By @HydrangeaMadness101Today is a day that's out of this world - Extraterrestrial Culture Day. So, what is it?
Well, duh, it's a day to celebrate alien culture, and our past, present and future relationships with these otherworldly beings.
This day is officially acknowledged and celebrated in New Mexico (Roswell). It was created in 2003 by a man named Daniel Foley. Props to him, because I think we can all agree that aliens are super cool.
Everyone loves an alien character, which is why people have created a number of films featuring aliens. There are several famous aliens that have been featured in films, novels, and so on. These include but are not limited to E.T., the Xenomorphs from Alien, Groot, Yoda, and basically anyone from the Star Wars series.
A popular stereotype is that aliens are bald, tiny green people that live on Mars.
What do you say to that?
More importantly, what do you think they look like?
