---------- Chapter 10 -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Hurry up, De!" Ron hollers back at me.
I roll my eyes, pull on my socks, tie my laces and run out the door. I catch up to Ron and Harry at the same moment Ginny and Hermione join them. I've never liked Ginny. I don't understand why. Maybe it's because she's so aloof all the time? I don't really know. I just don't like being around her.
"Oh! You look pretty, De," Hermione exclaims, smiling at me.
"She's right...why all the effort?" Ron asks suspiciously.
"Effort? I pulled on a dress? How is that effort?" I ask innocently.
Ron just shrugs and swings his arm over Hermione's shoulders. So, Henry walks with Ginny in front, their fingers interlaced, Ron and Hermione walk behind them and I walk behind everyone else. Great! Even Kate is with her boyfriend. So that just leaves me...all alone.
"Hey guys!" Neville calls across the grounds. I wave at him. Finally I won't have to walk alone! I'll have someone to talk to!
And just as I thought that, Luna walks towards us. So Neville and Lune start talking, and again, I'm alone! Geez! Can't I catch a break?!
"Dursley!" a familiar sneering voice attacks my ears. I huff and keep walking, until a hand grabs on to my arm and swings me around.
"Not all alone are you, Dursley?" Pansy asks feigning concern.
"Not any of your concern is it, Parkinson?" I retaliate.
"Oo! Feisty! Poor Dusley, the seventh wheel are we?" she asks sneeringly.
"Ironic that you should say that, isn't it Parkinson? You seem to be just as alone as I am," I murmur nonchalantly.
"Oh, but that's because I'm meeting Draco in Hogsmeade," she murmurs back, grinning.
"Oh? That's nice for you," I murmur, turning on my heels, catching up with the others.
"He's mine, Dursley!" she screeches, laughing like a maniac.
"Crazy, that one!" Ron murmurs, staring at Pansy.
"Hey Harry? When's the Quidditch match?" Ron asks, changing the topic.
"Next week. We'll mow Slytherin again," Harry calls back, grinning.
"Quidditch?" I ask.
"Yes. It's like wizard football. On a broom, and instead of eleven players, there are seven. Also, there are four balls, and they all fly," Harry calls back to me.
"Oh...okay? Are you a player?" I ask.
"Harry's the youngest seeker in a century! And I'm on the team too! And Ginny, of course," Ron exclaims, his face glowing with pride.
Hermione looks back at me and winks, making me giggle.
"Is Slytherin any good?"
"Are you bonkers? Of course they aren't! I mean, how could they be? They let Malfoy on the team just because his daddy bought everyone a Nimbus 2001!" Ron rants. Now, I don't really know what he said, other than Malfoy and bribing. But I just nod sagely.
"You not still into the boy, are you?" Ginny asks coldly.
"Which boy?" I ask in the same tone.
"The boy who is enemies with your cousin!" she mutters.
"Hmm, does the boy have a name?" I ask, being obnoxiously polite.
Ginny just rolls her eyes and continues walking with Harry. After a few more minutes, we get to Hogsmeade. It's such a pretty little town. The streets are full of Hogwarts students.
