---------- Chapter 40 -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The wedding march resounds around me as I gracefully glide down the aisle on my father’s arm. This will be the second marriage.
Draco and I are already officially married in the wizarding world, but I don’t want my parents to feel left out, so here we are, in a church, getting married again. Mum was so ecstatic, she’s invited every single person she knows! And since Draco’s family is paying for it, she’s seriously gone all out.
The inside of the church is amazing! It’s simple, yet so elegant. And Draco, standing at the end of the aisle has my heart hammering in my chest! How could a single person ever be so perfect? He’s basically glowing as he watches me hungrily.
I bite down on my lower lip to keep my hormones in check. A few more hours, and we’ll be back up in the suite. Draco and I are completely and indisputably perverted. Any free moment is spent on the bed or the rug, or anything really. Nobody, save a select few, know quite how passionate Draco can be.
I finally reach the end of the aisle and my father hands me over to Draco. He takes my hand gently and leads me up the three steps so we’re facing the bishop.
Before I know it, Draco’s nudging me and I quickly say “I do”. And that’s it! Father Malcolm announces us man and wife, and now our marriage is recognised even amongst muggles!
“I love you Mrs Malfoy,” Draco whispers as he leans in to kiss me.
“I love you more Mr Malfoy,” I inform him, standing on my tip toes to reach his lips quicker.
Our kiss lasts longer than strictly appropriate, but hey...neither one of us could give a damn.
This is it, after all of the drama of dating in school and after school and everything has just led up to this perfect moment. We’re married, bound together forever!
I would never admit it to anyone, but the real reason we’re getting married muggle style is because I’m pregnant. I want my parents to be part of my daughter’s life. The plan at first had been to just get married wizard style, and when I turn 21, we would get married in a church to satisfy my parents.
I subconsciously hold my hand to my stomach, amazed that my baby is in there. I can hardly wait to see her. I hope she looks like Draco! She would be the most beautiful girl on earth, and Draco and I would have to constantly look out for her.
Draco and I had shortlisted two names; Scorpius if it’s a boy and Selene if a girl.
Selene Malfoy.
She’ll attend Hogwarts and charm everyone. I can already imagine all the young boy’s admiring my little girl.
“What’s on your mind?” Draco asks softly.
“I’m thinking about our baby girl,” I whisper back, grinning like an idiot.
“I hope she looks like you,” he murmurs, kissing my forehead.
“No! She has to look like you,” I moan playfully. The only thing I want is for my children to look and behave like Draco. That’s all!
“Don’t be silly,” he teases. “I want my daughter to be breathtaking...so she has to look like you.”
I kiss him happily.
“I love you,” he reminds me.
“Forever and ever,” I continue.
“And even after that, I’ll still love you,” he whispers, leading me towards the garden where the reception would be held.
Draco’s family is in one corner, talking happily, while my family is in the other, basking in the limelight.
I can’t help but giggle slightly. How different our families are! And yet, here they stand, all together in the garden, here to support Draco and I.
Harry, Ginny, Ron and Hermione showed up, along with nearly every single person either Draco or I knew in Hogwarts. Nate refused to attend though.
It’s a shame. He was one of my closest friends, and it would have been nice if he had come.
“Dance with me Mrs Malfoy,” Draco murmurs bossily.
“Silly Draco! There’s no music,” I protest, smacking his arm lightly.
He winks at me, and the next thing I know a soft melody floats around me, enveloping Draco and I. He always learns the most amazing pieces of spell craft to astonish me.
And with that, Draco pulls me into his embrace, where I would stay forever more.
A/N: Epilogue coming! Bet you guys didn't think I'd include a new character huh? And who knows, I may just write a sequel in Selene Malfoy's POV. We'll see how it goes.
