They say pride will eat us alive, only if we let our ego get to us.
Emptiness
As I call it.
It's pain the cannot be described but can be destroyed if you let it.
I questioned why the people I love leave me. But still I have no answer. One day I hope to get the answer I'm looking for.
Cause it was their time.
No it wasn't.
The sun said it was.
The sun tells me a lot of things.
When it's sunny and bright outside,
Someone I loved has left me.
When it's rainy and sad outside,
The deceased is crying.
Pride doesn't just eat you away.
It kills who you are.
"I never thought revenge would make someone feel so powerful, until it makes you realize that you want to keep feeling that feeling. But you know deep down, revenge is never the right thing. Two wrongs don't make a right. So let me ask you this, if I am in pain why won't it go away? Why would it stay to eat me alive when all I do is pray for it to go away? Pride is a good thing. It makes you feel powerful when you can't make yourself powerful."
