Has anyone who reads this tried tio write a fic based on a song? Because I'm trying to write a one shot right now and I'm smooshing so many bad topics together (Bad as in illegal or sad/triggering) and I am having a lot of difficulty pushing all of the topics together. I'm also having a lot of trouble fitting it to the lyrics in the song, which is annoying me.
Am I the only one who has this problem? I mean, yeah, I don't have to add all of the topics, but I feel like it wouldn't be a song fic if it doesn't relate to the song except for only a few lines. But the outline I've made doesn't make sense and I'm just...
