I don't get disturbed by much. I really don't. I may joke and go 'you disturb me', but if you truly disturbed me, I'd stop talking to you. But what disturbs me in fanfictions is rape.

Now, I get having a story where it's added tastefully, if that's even possible, but it's realistic and not out of place.

I read a story where Luke was in an abusive relationship and his 'boyfriend' kept raping him. But in the end, it wasn't taken care of properly, and that bothered me. I'm not sure why. But in the end it was 'oh the poilce were called, they showed up, EVERYTHING'S ALL BETTER, THE END'. Luke didn't go to the hospital, no rape kit, the poilce didn't question him, no court dates, no PTSD, nothing. And that bothered me so much. It was so incredibly unrealistic that it literally made me sick.

There are a lot of stories where rape is added in just as a 'oh, I didn't know what else to put, so random rape'. And they make it so painfully unrealistic, and it just makes the story bad. I try not to call stories bad because people spend time on their stories and they like their stories, but it just makes them bad. It just does. They romanticize it, and it's upsetting.

*pukes* So many stories like this, and it's really starting to bother Rain. *sits next to toilet and cries*
