'Don't make your chapters long. It's boring and it takes forever to read. 1-6 pages is fine, maybe even 7, but no more than that.'

Since when do these authors have to do what you say? There are people who are like 'your updates are too short' or 'your updates are too long'. If you don't like it, don't read the book.

Frankly, I read a book where each chapter was 20 to 60 pages, and I was fine with that. In fact, I loved it. I've also read books where there are only about 4 paragraphs to a chapter, and it turned out to be one of my favorite books.

It's all up to the author, it's their book. Don't go telling people how to write their books, they write because they want to write, they don't just write for you.
