You text me, leave smiling faces
at the end of each message
exclamation points galore
and a smile to adorn my face
from small smirks when you humor me unintentionally
to ear to ear grins that you cause unapologetically
when i see your name as a new notification
when i read what you've sent me
We don't talk about anything in particular
but it's simple and that is all we need right now
because i don't know
what you think of me
and yet that's okay.
