I realize now how uncomplicated this is—us. compared to your relationships. your other life. the place you spend five days a week and over eight hours a day
whoever you are at school is different than who i know you to be when i'm with you
it's impossible to not feel left out. to feel like i'm not worthy of your time. like someone else will take my place when you leave
i call it fear, but i know it's trust issues
they tie me down but this floats high in the clouds
a denial of said acceptance
i thought i was the only one but you've showed me that everyone has a past
one that inevitably makes this complicated—from your side of life and continuum.
