jack looked at zach's cute brown eyes.

zach was looking everywhere, except jack. the curly haired boy liked it when zach got nervous because he had noticed that it just happened with him.

jack still couldn't believe what he had just said. but as soon as zach hugged him and thanked him, he knew he should try with him.

jack knew that gabbie would sooner or later insist on something with val and not with him or perhaps other poeple, but there were few or maybe none possibilities between them.

mainly because gabbie seemed to want nothing with him.

she didn't see him as before, now she only saw jack as a friend.

but it wasn't the moment to think about gabbie, that was what jack was repeated in the head. this was the moment to think about the boy who returned his hug.

he needed to try zach.

he needed to try to be happy. and zach always makes him happy.

he would be stupid if he didn't try.

zach aroused sensations in jack that the curly-haired boy never though of having.

zach looked as if he was analyzing the request of jack. and for a second jack wondered if zach could feel the same as he did at that moment, or if he was destined to have everyone reject him.

"okay, let's know each other." zach said finally causing a smile to spread across jack's face.

the curly-haired boy felt the urge to come to kiss him, so he did. however, his lips didn't meet  zach's but they met his palm.

"what happens?" asked nervous jack. did i screw it up so fast? shit, i just wanted to kiss him, the curly-haired boy thought. "did i do something wrong?"

his hand was still between the two. "that's right, you did something wrong. you're skipping a lot of steps." zach's eyebrows narrow. jack swallowed because zach looked angry, although that did not take away from how handsome he was. "you said we should know each other, you can not kiss me until we do know each other."

then zach let out a mischievous giggle when he saw the state of shock in which jack was. he was making fun of him.

"that's perverse, handsome, at least give me a little one." zach shook his head despite the fact that jack made a pout of disgust. "just one on the cheek?"

the younger one smiled, showing all his teeth and removing the wall that separates them. he offered his cheek and jack approached smiling to deposit a kiss there.

jack didn't want to let him go, he wanted to spend the whole night awake with him but he was aware that zach was probably tired with the hard days he had had with the classes, writing new songs and recording them and now go to his brother's matches.

so jack moved away from zach to let him free but the boy grabbed his hand instantly to pull him and hold him close. "can we stay a while more awake?"

zach's look seemed so innocent and adorable that it made it impossible for jack to say no.

they walked shoulder to shoulder without saying anything on the cobbled road and instead of going home. zach directed him to the park next door. jack looked askance at him a couple of times along the way and found him smiling.
