that aggressiveness between corbyn and cole almost disappeared when cole looked down at corbyn's lips.
it was a clear sign that he wanted something more than to get closer to corbyn and that he wasn't going to hit him.
the blond was nervous because of that gesture. it didn't bother him to think about kissing that boy but he cared that people will see them.
cole took a breath of air breaking with that tension that there was. "you're pretty handsome," he said making corbyn feel even more nervous.
"oh." the blond couldn't help but blush, although he did curse himself in his head for doing so. "thank you."
this was new for corbyn. he hadn't experienced anything romantic, sexual or even a simple flirt with a boy. he wanted to do it but he didn't know if he was ready.
corbyn was so used to see the boys being just friends with him and hearing someone call him handsome was completely a surprise for him.
"and i guess you're smart enough to realize that i'm trying to flirt with you."
cole's words were too direct for the blond.
corbyn wish in that moment that the brown haired boy wasn't have said those words. because now he didn't know how to respond. neither did he know if his voice would come out completely firm or not.
the blond had completely forgotten that a few seconds ago he wanted to punch him.
so corbyn finally decided to answer without speaking, he just smiled shyly, flattered.
cole sounded honest and his words were sweet. but corbyn was too scared to see it.
"i was wondering," continued the blue-eyed boy. "if you'd like to go for a ride. it doesn't need to be a date, but we can hang out and talk. and get to know each other more. "
corbyn had to admit that cole was being adorable and extremely sexy.
but that request left him kinda dazed and confused and it was because he was not sure he wanted to go out with boys in that way for now.
however, christina's words sounded in his head and corbyn knew they were true that he had to give some boy a chance.
cole was so sweet and there seemed to be chemistry and it would undoubtedly be the best option, but corbyn still wasn't convinced at all.
"i'm sorry," said the blond, feeling sadly relieved. " but no."
"oh," replied cole with a tone of surprise. he wasn't expecting that answer. "okay."
corbyn watched him go and felt guilty. but then he remembered that it was almost impossible for him to see that boy again so there was no problem.
corbyn started walking back home with a frown, wondering what was wrong with him.
