Chapter 21 - Witches

Isabelle came back with three cups and handed Katherine the bottle as they walked over to me.

"Here, a vitnor I knew in Avenue"

She she said to Katherine.

Katherine made an impressed face as she tried the blood in the wine bottle.

"Mm, he's tasty"

Katherine said smirking. 

They sat down and Katherine began pouring us glasses of blood

"So, what was with the surprise visit at the Gilbert house?"

Katherine asked as she handed me a glass. 

"John told me Rick was dating aunty vanilla. I got jealous"

Isabelle  said with a pout. 

"Youve got John wrapped around your finger..if you got him to invite you into the house" 

Katherine said smirking as she sat down next to Isabelle. I sat across from them with my leg across the other, cradling my glass in my hand. 

"He thinks I'm helping him protect Elena. So he's been very useful in keeping me informed o everything that's bee going on"

Isabelle said with a smug look on her face.

"So tell me what you know"

Katherine said with raised brows. 

"You were right, I couldn't get anywhere near Klaus, but I found my way to someone in his trusted circle"

Isabelle said smirking. Katherine and I raised a brow in interest for what she had to say.

"One of his witches"

She said leaning into Katherine. Katherine scoffed and rolled her eyes

"Klaus and his witches"

She saif shaking her head and taking a sip of her blood.

"He tends to have a thing for them"

I said rolling my eyes as I sipped my glass as well. 

"He said that Klaus is willing to grant you your freedom, if we deliver the moonstone and the doppleganger"

Isabelle explained. Katherine nodded

"I can get the moonstone. Jess will you help me?"

Katherine asked. I sighed with a shrug

"I suppose I could. You did free me"

I said looking back and forth from Katherine to Isabelle. 

"You know Katherine, you'd be betraying your Salvatore boys again"

Isabelle said smirking. 

"I was more than willing to play their way if I had to, but they're floundering. Their witch has lost their powers, and they've used their only weapon to kill Elijah. If I stick with them, I'm dead. You and Jessica showing up changes everything"

Katherine said with a big smile. We all smirked and raised our glasses and drank. 

"So Klaus?"

I asked with a raised brow. Isabelle smirked, setting her glass down

"I haven't had the chance to meet him in person..but when you had Katherine wake you up, something happened. One of his witches told me that they felt your powers as soon as you were awoken and she told Klaus about it...he knows you're awake"
