Chapter 29 - The Sun Also Rises

Elijah and I picked up a very ready and prepared Alaric and Stephan and drove to the spot in the woods. I tracked Elena, using some ear rings. 

We all hopped out of the SUV and started to walk

"The sacrifice is completed in stages as the full moon sets. First the werewolf is killed, then the vampire. Finally the doppelganger. Once Elena dies, the curse will be broken.Klaus and Jessika will become hybrid"

Elijah said glancing at me. Anxiety flew through my body...something was screaming at me but I didn't know what that was. 

"So when do we attack?"

Alaric asked. Elijah turned to look at Stephan and Ric

"Elena's death will activate their dormant werewolf side. They'll be vulnerable during the transformation. I'll protect Jessika, but that's where Bonnie comes in"

Elijah said looking from the two of them. 

"And you're sure this'll work?"

Stephan asked

"If she can deliver him to the brink of death, I'll finish the job myself"

Elijah said nodding. Suddenly Stephan's cell went off and he picked up

"Damon"

Stephan said and walked off. I looked at Elijah with confusion. 

"We're sticking with the original plan, we're meeting Bonnie right now"

Stephan said, then his body stiffened

"What?"

Stephan said with concern

"Stephan?"

I called with a raised brow but Stephan looked back at Alaric.

"What is it? What's wrong?"

Alaric asked

"Oh my god"

Stephan said 

"What the bloody hell is happening?!"

I asked raising my arms in the air

"We have to go find Jeremy. Now"

Stephan said and without a word, we got back in the car and Stephan drove. He told us on the way what was happening...

Jenna was turned into a vampire..and Klaus was going to kill her....

So we got to the mansion and Alaric went in to talk to Jeremy. 

Bonnie came out and saw me pacing. 

"What's going-"

"Why her?! Why kill the only family Elena and Jeremy have left! How could he be so..so-"

"Cruel? My dear, you've barely scratched the surface with just how cruel he's been in your absence" 

Elijah said looking over to me. 

"But why Jenna?!"

I asked looking at Stephan

"A punishment for meddling. Klaus was going to use Tyler and Caroline but Damon rescued them"

Stephan said looking from Bonnie to me. 

"Then we need to go.Now. Before Jenna's been sacrificed. I can kill Klaus myself"

Bonnie said urgently. Stephan sighed 

"Bonnie...if you use that much power, you'll be dead. We've already been through this. It's not an option"
