Chapter 11- Lucian

(Next day - morning - still 1002 A/D)
I stared down at the woman I just devoured.... She was lifeless...her eyes open.
I sighed sadly and closed her eyes, fixing her arms so they lied perfectly on her chest and I took a rag that I always had on me, to clean up her neck and blood up as best as I could...
"Who's ready for the next course?"
Kol said laughing.

"You're all filthy gluttons"
Fin said shaking his head.
I clenched my fist giving Finn an annoyed look but sighed it out as I stood up. Rebeckah walked over to me
"She had such pretty clothes...what a shame they'll go to waste"
"You have a point" I said sighing sadly
Rebeckah sighed looking down at the girl
"Why do you do that every time?"
She asked me looking down at the girl I ate that looked like she was ready to be placed in a coffin.
"I felt bad...she was so bloody...I figured...when they find her...at least she'll look...nice"
I said then sighed shaking my head
"I'm a demon"
I said sadly. Niklaus came over and hugged me
"We all are if that's the case"
She said
"Ladies we have discussed this. We can not-"
"Hold on just a minute Elijah! You demanded Rebeckah and I go on in these bloody rags! Do you not see the holes in our clothing!"
I said holding up my brown dress that was overly worn down.
"You discussed this but non of us had any say in the matter!"
Rebekah said annoyed.
"I mean come on Elijah, look at all the stuff they have. This lot was traveling somewhere with silks and finery"
I said pointing to the carriage
"Elijah we can hide in plain sight we can live ordinary liv-"
"Silence"
Elijah said looking around. We all stopped to listen...and a heartbeat was thundering in my ears
"Hm...how strange when non of our hearts are beating"
I said sarcastically as we all slowly walked to the carriage. Elijah pulled up a silk blanket and there, was a man with shoulder length brown hair tied back. He screamed and went to run but Rebeckah sped up to him and got in his way. He went to run around her but I sped over
"What a pretty eyes...sort of like a doll"
I said smirking. We all circled him so he couldn't escape.
"He's a handsome man"
Rebekah said smirking.
"Eh I mean if you're into that"
I said smirking and looked at Nik, winking at him. He smiled at me, but our attention was brought to Kol
"He looks like dessert to me"
Kol took a step forward
"No wait wait wait!"
He held his hand up. Kol stopped
"I can help you.I-I am a personal servent to the count of motel. And the very thing you just mentioned!I-I was sent to escort these guests to his home for a-a lengthy stay. I know their customs as well as the count's habits. If you need to pose as the family you slaughtered here, then, you'll need my help to carry out your rues"
He said. Nobody said anything at first..but this wasn't a bad idea actually....
Rebeckah looked around
"Please can we keep him"
She asked softly
"Rebekah he isn't a pet or a toy..but his idea isn't that bad"
I said crossing my arms
"Rebeckah nooo.What is our most important rule?"
Elijah asked. I sighed as  Rebekah and I started
"Never leave a person alive-"
"Who has seen who we are"
all the guys say
"Come on guys we can't just...take up his offer for tonight get bathed, eat our hearts out, both savage and human like food...kill him in the night and be on our way?"
I asked with hope in my eyes. All the guys looked at one another.
"This is a practice that has served us very well indeed"
Elijah said and went to walk up to the man but Fin stopped him
"Jessika has a point. He may be of use"
Fin said crossing his arms.
"Ah proper family squabble"
Kol said

"Kol shut up. Nik say something"
I said looking at him for help. He sighed
"Perhaps we should put it to a vote. All those in favor of letting him live"
Nik asked. Rebeckah, Fin and I raised our hand.
"It's gonna be a tie?"
I said in annoyance
"Those inclinded to gut him?"
Kol asked raising his hand. Elijah raised his hand. I looked at Nik who still hadn't put his hand up. I raised my brow
"You're undecided?"
I asked looking at Nik.
"Well brother, what's it going to be?"
Kol asked smirking. Nik walked up to this poor terrified man and looked him in the eyes for a long time
"I'm with Jessika,Fin, and Rebekah...he could be of use to us"
Nik said smirking as the man was scared out of his mind
