Or the one where Lapis gives Peridot a happy ending. (3333 words)

A bleak cloudy morning falls fresh rain for a not so good start. Peridot is suffering from a terrible bed injury creating the worst morning in history. Hand clutching her neck, her pain resides after sleeping on it funny. The unbearable ache made her stiff as a board, hoping to keep as immobile as possible to relive the excruciating tension.

It became hard to balance her MacBook on her lap. An email chime alerted her too much for comfort, as she twisted her neck causing a twinge of strain making her cry out in anger.

Peridot would seek professional help if she had the coverage, she mistakenly missed a deadline for a fixed health plan provided by her job and now she is paying for it.

While still managing a drive with neck bent with an ear resting on her shoulder. Peridot makes the trip to her mall for some professional help.

After checking positive reviews in her search for pain relief, she came across a company located near her dealing in physical therapy. Peridot peeped the offer for acupuncture and hoped to higher forces that it wouldn't have to come that.

Her trip to the mall was not an easy one. Driving for her was overly complicated, even before spending fifteen minutes trying to buckle her safety belt. When she did arrive, her confidence was left at home struggling out of her car and into the parking lot.

She makes her way inside trudging forth with her neck unaligned pointing south. She finds the clinical spa and almost did a double take when she saw the prices. I can't pay this...what am I gonna do?

Out of luck she faces away from the counter the best way she could. Hunched over and grasping her injured neck walking out of the parlor into a crowd. She couldn't keep a pace, sure she could go home to sleep it off after popping aspirin, hell Peridot wished she grabbed some before leaving so soon. Ending up looking like a disabled mess, as she struggle trots to the west exit doors.

"Excuse me are you okay," Someone grabbed her attention using pity, which was something Peridot didn't need right now but she turns around anyway. "I'm fine," her vision placed restrictedly to the mall floor only seeing the caring stranger's sandals. "You're about to collapse, looks like," the stranger bends down to meet Peridot's eye level and they are puffy from weeping to herself. "I can help," the stranger told Peridot to much disbelief.

"I'm sorry, but how can you possibly help me," Peridot brims on certain eruption, the only thing calming her to the point of channeled anger is being lost in the pair of deep blue eyes before her.

"I didn't exactly enjoy seeing you limping for your life just a second ago," she said, "Why don't we step into my office," she lend a hand out but Peridot hesitates to reach out to her. "Don't be koi, I'm a massage therapist, I work right over there near the café," she pointed out for Peridot to see.

"That's a nail salon," Peridot retorts.

"With a backroom, where we treat eyebrows, sometimes perform massages by someone like I don't know...me, Lapis!" Lapis encourages and points to herself.

"What are your rates, Lapis?" Peridot reluctant in her wallowing and running out of further options to make her decent count for something.

"Just buy me a coffee or a tip don't worry about it. I'll have you walking straight in no time. Now, come along with me people are beginning to stare," the masseuse began to direct her to a corner nail spa.
