It's been a month now.

A month of torture, a month of sadness and a month of self pity. I honestly pitied myself. I became Damon's lap dog, everything he asks, I do.

I haven't spoken to Phil in a month and it's killing me. I was ashamed of myself and of how I looked, so I decided not to leave the house. I looked like some drug addict; I was a mess.

All I could think about was nostalgia. I had a wistful desire to return back home, to my family and friends. A sentimental yearning for the happiness I had back home. Back at Phil's as well.

I remember it was Saturday on October the 24th. It was a beautiful day and so Phil and I decided to take a walk in the park and maybe have a picnic. I was wearing my jeans and a black v-neck with black sandals. Phil was wearing a white linen shirt and some jeans, probably the same ones he still wears today. We decided to enjoy our picnic at King Rock. Nobody stayed there, it was our own place. As we reached it, Phil sat up the blanket onto the green grass, and started to take out food from the picnic basket. It was lovely, everything around was so simple and quiet. I enjoyed watching children play, dogs running after cats, the birds chirping, that was relaxation.

After our meal, Phil and I laid down together onto the blanket and cuddled like couples do. It wasn't a strange thing for us, we loved to be in each other's company as much as we loved to be in each other's arms. I rested my head onto his chest and listened to his heart beat.

''What are you thinking about?'' Phil asked as he formed a pattern of circles on my back.

''Me, you, us.'' I whispered softly.

''Hmm, tell me.'' He replied.

''Well I was thinking, if I never found your secret place we would have never met and I would have never been saved.'' I said as I lifted my head and turned around to look at his face. His beautiful hazel eyes were shining. I could see nothing else, but them. It's as if they had a magic spell on them.

''But you did and look at us now.'' He gently cupped my face and slowly kissed me on the fore head.

''Yeah, together.'' I smiled.

We laced our fingers together as a small little girl came towards us.

''Hello.'' A girl's honey-sweet voice came from behind me. I sat up and turned leisurely and there she was, standing behind me; a beautiful little girl. She wore a simple white dress with a gold braided belt. Her hair was long, wavy and golden brown. The girl's face was milky white, with large dazzling chocolate brown eyes and perky cherry lips.

The girl was stunningly gorgeous, like a painting of a goddess brought to life. She smiled sweetly at me, her eyes sparkling like stars flaunted on the night sky.

''Hi, there.'' I smiled at her. ''What's your name, sweetie?''

''Sam-an-tha.'' She spelled out softly.

''What a beautiful name for a beautiful girl.'' I said, as I motioned for her to sit on my lap.

''What's yours?'' She asked shyly.

''My name is Sarah.''

''I like it.'' She exclaimed.

I noticed her looking around. ''Are you lost?'' I asked.

''I think so.'' She chuckled.
